Still delusional @SylviaJonesMPP
Ontario continues to lead the nation in eliminating interprovincial barriers. By ensuring we have free and fair trade within our own borders, we’re unlocking new opportunities for workers and industries, lowering costs and strengthening our economy for generations to come.🇨🇦

What the hell @ProvigoQc! Do you really expect us to buy #Driscoll berries after the recent exposé on pesticide levels? Also… can you please provide us with a choice of NON-USA berries.

Never again, Driscoll’s. After reading the allegations about pesticide residues in berries shipped to Canada, I’m voting with my wallet. Today: BC-grown strawberries and blueberries from Peru. Driscoll’s is finished our house.

There are a few of us who have been sitting with an 80 year old gentleman who fell over at Apex Park, Burnham on Sea today at 1130am. He is laying on the concrete where he fell, he is cold and in agony. Broken leg/hip?? The ambulance has been rung 6 times, a police car has been flagged down by a member of public who showed concern and left again. All we know is there is unprecedented pressure locally, no ambulances available. He’s been lying here for SIX AND A HALF HOURS with no idea when an ambulance will arrive @burnham_on_sea @swasFT @Ashley7Fox

No nurses = no health care; I don’t care how many new doctors you have recruited or are training.
I asked the Health Minister about nurses and health care workers being laid off across Ontario. She didn’t answer. Throughout committee, she blamed the federal government, blamed the previous Liberal government from eight years ago, and avoided answering questions. Health care workers and patients deserve better than excuses. #onpoli

Why the hell would anyone in Canada be buying Driscoll’s anyway? 🤢 Now they’re facing a class-action lawsuit over allegations of chemical residues in their berries. Buy Canadian. 🇨🇦 Leave Driscoll’s on the shelf. Boycott them. share.google/09oigWMoSIBHhWO…

Thank you so much MPP and Registered Nurse Tyler Watt for standing up so clearly for Ontario hospitals losing so many staff due to underfunding. The Minister of Health simply couldn’t provide an honest answer to your basic question.

The Minister is concerned about funding but spends 2-3X more for surgeries in private sector clinics as opposed to public hospitals? Health minister warns Ontario faces ‘fiscal cliff’ amid renewal of federal funding thetrillium.ca/insider-news/… via @Thetrilliumca

This sounds great. But you are firing nurses etc, reducing beds, so where are these primary care clinics etc supposed to refer patients? Oh wait, Shoppers, loblaws and private clinics. Silly me
Over the past year, I’ve met with doctors, nurses and staff at many of the incredible clinics across Ontario helping us connect everyone in the province to primary care by 2029. This morning, we took the next step in our $3.4 billion Primary Care Action Plan, launching the next round of calls for proposals to connect another 600,000 people to a family doctor or primary care team. The bottom of the steps into Holkham Bay this evening as the large tide comes in. Bats are skimming across the water and curlew burble. It’s just beautiful.

These guys came into Andreas Restaurant in Langley, BC, ordered $200 worth of food and left without paying. They ordered dessert and then one by one, got up and left. They deserve to be shamed. #bcpoli (taken from FB)

For all my dear Twitter pals who are stuck indoors as the sun goes down, come and stand on Holkham beach as the tide rushes in. The sea looks lazy here - but it’s certainly not. Warmth in the autumnal sun and clear Norfolk air. Perfect.

Ottawa hospitals have operating rooms and diagnostic equipment sitting unused while people wait months for care. The problem isn’t entirely a lack of capacity - it’s a lack of funding and staff to actually use it. Instead of expanding privatization, Doug Ford needs to properly fund our public hospitals, invest in health care workers and get patients the care they need sooner. #onpoli ottawacitizen.com/news/ottaw…
