PNKSTR has never existed in a raging bull market and these are early signs of what it could do
The market is racing FWA for the cheapest PNKSTR listing:
- Punks floor: 33.69
- Cheapest PNKSTR listing: 35.26 (12th from floor)
- FWA Punk Lister funding for its next buy (cheapest PNKSTR listing): 22, growing ~2.2 per day
Meanwhile PNKSTR is 7 days from its next buy at current run rate of ~3 per day
The FWA Punk Lister has added a perpetual bid on the cheapest PNKSTR listing, regardless of punks floor
This brings interest to FWA through making a steady supply of grail chase NFTs available, and accelerates the PNKSTR fly wheel
Other strategy tokens are also helping, notably $CREDITSTR
Anyone can now launch a Strategy token for any collection without one, for 1 eth
This will bring more activity as NFTs continue to recover
The token works

When people say “Thanks for waiting,” I think, “What else would I have done?”
It would be more accurate for them to say, “Thanks for not leaving.”

Californians didn’t lose $15 billion. The state confiscated it and is treating it as its own.
That is not a slogan.
In a February 10, 2015 report to the Legislature — Unclaimed Property: Rethinking the State’s Lost & Found Program — Legislative Analyst Mac Taylor wrote it in black and white:
“Because property not reunited with owners becomes state General Fund revenue, the unclaimed property law creates an incentive for the state to reunite less property with owners.” — Legislative Analyst’s Office (LAO), p. 3
The LAO said unclaimed cash was already the General Fund’s fifth-largest revenue source, more than $400 million a year. Every dollar they don’t give back is a dollar Sacramento gets to spend.
“Property” here is not a house. It’s a forgotten bank account, an uncashed paycheck, an old insurance payout, leftover stock, a closed utility deposit. Little piles of your cash the state swept after nobody touched them for a few years.
When the LAO wrote that report: $7.2 billion in 28 million forgotten accounts.
Now, on Cohen’s watch: $15 billion+ sitting in 84 million of them.
That is not a lost-and-found. It is an interest-free loan from Californians to Sacramento — and it is almost never paid back. The LAO found the state returns about 40 cents on the dollar over time. Cohen’s big “reunification” last winter? $30 million. Against $15 billion. That is a rounding error, not a repayment.
Last fiscal year her own cash report booked $1.32 billion in “Abandoned Property” as General Fund receipts.
She is not closing the loophole. She is widening it. Cohen is the sponsor of Assembly Bill (AB) 1447, which the Los Angeles Times reported would make it easier for the state to seize forgotten stocks and mutual funds if you don’t answer a notice. Industry groups told the Senate the same thing: easier confiscation.
CBS: ‘Other states automatically send the money back. Cohen mails press releases — and a bill to grab more…’
I’m running for Controller to reverse that incentive. This is your money. I will return it.

I spent the last five days in San Diego
If you want to see how badly Los Angeles has failed as a city, drive two hours south
Here's the thing about downtown San Diego. It's basically what downtown LA and Santa Monica should be, combined into one place
A real city center that also sits right on the water
The parks downtown are full of families with their kids and dogs
Downtown LA, people and businesses avoid like the plague
Santa Monica and Venice beach are both infested with homeless
How could the two largest cities in California be so drastically different?
How could San Diego could have this problem under control while LA has gotten so far out of hand?
So I looked it up...
In 2023 San Diego passed a camping ordinance. No tents in parks, near schools, or on the beach
Then they actually enforced it
They decided it wasn't acceptable and they stuck to it
San Diego has 3,000 people sleeping on the street
LA has 30,000
San Diego decided it wasn't acceptable
LA decided we'd get used to it
The extreme dichotomy existing in Los Angeles right now never ceases to astound me
In this video on the left is an abandoned construction site with homeless living in RVs right up in the half finished ruin of a condo…and ONE block to the right is the drivers in blacked out SUVs parked by LA Convention Center waiting to pick up the celebrities attending the Emmys tonight
Absolute abject poverty, ruin, hopelessness and homelessness juxtaposed next to the Emmys and top 1% of wealth and privilege in the world in mere BLOCKS is WILD
Reminder that these are the people lecturing you from the TV in $12k ballgowns for not doing enough and guilting you to donate more of YOUR modest salary to help the very people they drive by and completely IGNORE as they’re leaving glamorous awards shows with goody bags worth tens of thousands of dollars
The blatant hypocrisy of it all is astounding and I’ll never get used to it
Aerial views of the 78th Primetime Emmy Awards venue which are taking place live from the Peacock Theater at L.A. LIVE in DTLA right now
You can see that Figueroa St is completely closed off for blocks in front of Crypto Arena and the LA Convention Center with only LAPD, security and attendee access allowed
The white tents and white umbrellas in front of Crypto is where the guests arrived on the BLUE carpet an hour ago
On the right you can see portions of the adjacent Graffiti Tower Complex construction site which is currently being cleaned up for the first time since the graffiti covered all 3 towers in early 2024
What shows are y’all hoping win Emmys today?
