In my opinion, these aren't real Lakers fans. I can hate a player all I want, but the second he puts on a Lakers jersey, all that is forgiven. Plus, he literally helped get us out of the dark days. They trippin'. Respectfully though.

Yes, you’re right. It would be nice to have the luxury of being able to tank several seasons for lottery talent. It would be great if a division rival traded us their best player, finals MVP that’s a top 2 two way player in the league…and it’d be awesome if the best Swiss Army knife in basketball history decided to play in LA for a vet min contract. Austin Reaves and Luka are nice scorers but I can't help but think two scoring playmakers in 2026 is a waste. You need one of those positions to be a 2 way star really. Philly have 3 guys who can get 25 and they can all defend.

I thought Yaxel would be a better overall defender than what he's shown. He defends like he's a rookie, and the lack of athleticism negates the 7'4" wingspan he has. It's really disappointing, and it really curtails his longterm overall value. Yes, he's a rookie, but he's 24.
