RQ Singapore Top 8 with Kennen (11-2-1). Feels even better doing it on home soil.

Rd 3: vs Irelia WLW (g2 played a unit in bf for no reason and died cos of it)

played g1 really well after they fell behind early)

Rd 11: vs Rengar WW (they got gusted on stack after playing punch first in g1 and lost from there)

Rd 13: vs Kennen LWW (scooped g1 in 10mins after not seeing any stacked decks or rushes. Had enough time cos of that to come back)
Top 8: vs @GoricaLoL WLL (had nuts in g1 and I thought oh easy matchup. Clearly it wasn't. Got info gapped pretty hard. Deserved winner)
Only made 2 card changes from my Barcelona list. Downwell was very unplayable in my sideboard since this build deramps alot to go on the aggressive. Swapped to second salvage which was straight up better.
EXISTENTIAL DREAD IN MAINDECK. I come from yu-gi-oh which was also closed decklist for the most part. If u deviate a little from the norm you introduce an element of surprise that even the best players often don't/can't play around. 1 rune untapped in Kennen is supposed to be a gust or stacked deck, in general. Existential dread ends their turn, and ends the game very often as you flip point tempo with a hold. Card solo'd a few games for me. Stun is extremely strong in this game.
I also value being able to hold in this game as efficiently as possible, very highly.
The build still farms Irelia and is good into Yi, not much changed there from Barcelona. Imperial Decree still the goated Singapore special card in those matchups. @katsucurryXBT and I swear by it.
With both RC invites now secured i'm considering trying for a Best Of off meta legend in LA.
But I also wanna win an RQ.

Finally back home. No travel till RC Stuttgart. The first time in a long time I'm actually spending a full month in my home country without flying out for events.
I love this lifestyle. Travel to compete. Meet new ppl. Try new stuff see new places. Go home. Rinse and repeat.

Took awhile to get my engine restarted from my prime Yu-Gi-Oh days, but after awhile I truly felt at home playing live. We did pretty good this year spiking a top 8 on home soil.
Putting names to faces from the years of being in the online ccg scene as we finally left our houses to meet irl was also a treat.
Meeting and hanging out with old and new local tcg buddies, seeing them more than I see family was also not on my bingo card, but hilariously enjoyable.
Can't wait to play in both Regional championships later this year!
