The issue with feminism/other social justice movements is its not apathetic enough towards its oppressors, its always making excuse for them?? Why should your abuser not subjugated to the suffering they've inflicted on you and your people? You can never reason with your oppressor

This is an example of what I mean when I say poor people dehumanise wealthy people
This poor man (because you just know it is a man) sees nothing wrong with violating various famous and wealthier people like Sasha Obama (and many others on his page) with damaging libellous lies
Yeah not surprised LSE and Columbia have deep relationship. I wanted to do a semester in Columbia, but it never worked, kinda glad it didnโt as couple years forward they started arresting students. My friend was doing her phd, I was so worried for her
You canโt make this up. Minouche Shafik, the former @Columbia president who caved to hostile politicians in a disastrous hearing, called the NYPD onto her own campus, had students arrested by the hundreds, then resigned in disgrace, is now in charge of @LSEnews new forum for โdemocratic debate.โ
Will she call the police on the debaters too?

we know white female casting directors are a big reason why a lot of monoracial black women arenโt getting casted because look how white women #onhere act whenever a bw is paired with a white male character they find attractive
Literally!! Before he met he insulted her and called her a dud, and lowkey being demeaning her and her career any chance he got. #LoveIsBlind
Even before the new episodes came out, I knew Rob and Michaella were not a good matchโฆwhat were yall seeing that I didnโt see lol?! #LoveIsBlind
ZERO Accountability!! Absolute loser
Robs excuses for embarrassing himself and acting like a jerk to Michaela:
His dad died, his mom is 75
2 of his friends died
His dad cried when his uncle died of Aids
He's stressed & going through alot
His family is unsure
He is unsure

Daycare is a household expense, not a mother's expense. Throwing out your career for 3 years of childcare is insane.
I think if you are a married woman with kids who makes a modest salary and your husband is the clear breadwinner and you arenโt someone who is locked in to your career and would be cool staying at home and your husband doesnโt have the forethought to be like โdaycare is gonna basically cost your entire salary anyway so just stay at homeโ he should be tarred and feathered
But its not retirement? She will be expected to take on the burden of not only looking after the kids but also managing the household with zero income or retirement in return? And he decides to leave can never really revive her career

#LoveIsBlindBoston Iโve a theory
Rob keeps calling Matt โbeekeeperโ in attempts to make him feel โless thanโ - newsflash that is a very respectable job
Only called him by his role, which does not fucking matter cause Rob makes money but is a loser in my eyes
He is PATHETIC
Cam has no shame, what do you mean she is paying for everything???? How all these men so shameless #LoveIsBlind

Aneha so terrible she has me feeling bad for a white man from Boston #LoveIsBlind wtf
Definitely but she knew his job. All these women piss me off, they all choose losers then complain. Pick someone in your tax bracket, unless you are willing to take on the financial burden.
I canโt really fault cam too much because she was very much aware of his job
Unpopular opinion but Aneha is not (solely) the problem. Cam is dead weight and has weaponised his incompetence his entire life because his mom and sister are enablers #loveisblind
All this money invested in Ukraine, is the UK and to some extent Europe getting anything in return? Literally no returns gained.
๐จ NEW: John Healey has announced Ukraine will receive ยฃ10bn in additional economic and military support
"We called him this morning... he told us we made his day"

To add to this:
- A minimum wage job in the UK will now pay ยฃ27.4k.
- A PhD graduate will start at ~ยฃ35k in their first postdoc.
I can understand why young people think it isn't worth it. UG, MSc, maybe a PhD, for an 8k paybump and a ton of debt lol

This all lovely and all but middle class earners are shafted again. All I ask for an increase in income tax allowance which would help out so many families
๐จ NEW: John Healey is set to announce the following in his Budget later
- The gas standing charge will be scrapped to save ยฃ27 a year on a typical bill
- Green levies on energy bills will be scraped "for good"
- NHS prescription charges will be frozen at ยฃ9.90 for another year
- Poorer households on benefits will receive extra help with energy bills before January's sharp rises
- The VAT cut on electricity bills, which was due to expire in April, will be extended (though it's not clear if this will be announced in the Budget or separately)
- The Government will remove the link between gas and electricity prices, which currently inflates household bills, "in the long term"
- Banks will face higher taxes, with the surcharge on their profits potentially rising from 3% to 8%, making it the Budgetโs biggest revenue raiser
- HMRC will be given powers to seize money from the bank accounts of people who fail to pay their tax
- The freeze on rail fares will reportedly not be extended beyond April
- Online retailers like Amazon, eBay and Temu will be made responsible for collecting unpaid VAT from sellers to fund a cut in business rates for high street shops
- The thresholds for income tax will be frozen again so another half a million people may be dragged into the higher rate
- January's planned increase in fuel duty will be cancelled
- Pensioners relying solely on the state pension will see their tax-free allowance rise to ยฃ13,036, in line with the pension increase, so they don't pay income tax
- Billions in long-term borrowing to invest in defence firms and raise the share of GDP spent on defence (without breaking fiscal rules, as the investments are expected to generate returns)
- The upcoming "Your First Home" scheme will be made more generous to provide greater support for middle-income earners
- The Budget will also assume the Rosebank oil field is approved, which will generate "significant tax revenues"
