The unconscious is a simulacra of the territory we lost and were never able to regain - Jean Baudrillard
Rules for a drawdown:
Don't raise size to win it back
Don't change entries or filters mid-DD (that's a new strategy)
Don't skip a rung
Don't judge a tier on fewer than 3 signals
Log every tier change. Discipline is the edge on top of the edge.

The ladder:
Tier 3 Full: $650 risk, cap 10
Tier 2 Reduced: $500, cap 6
Tier 1 Defensive: $350, cap 4, no press
Tier 0 Paused: no live orders, signals tracked on paper
One red gauge = down one rung. Two reds = straight to paused.
Running 20+ algos live, the hardest call isn't entry. It's size.
When do you cut an algo in a drawdown? When do you add back? When do you shut it off?
My answer: decide it all before the drawdown. Here's the ladder I run for every algo that uses fixed cash risk🧵
Stepping back up is harder on purpose:
A new equity high, or rank back above 50% on 5+ signals
Plus 20 trading days at the tier with no red
Plus the whole book not in a deep DD
Same bar both ways and your size flips on noise.

🚨BREAKING: BINANCE HOT WALLET APPEARS TO BE DRAINED FOR ~$2.53B!
On-chain data shows a large outflow from a Binance hot wallet (Binance 14) involving roughly $2.53 billion across 60+ tokens on Ethereum, including a major ETH transfer.
The transaction that moved the funds was initiated by an address funded via Tornado Cash, with the assets sent to a fresh EOA.
The report remains unconfirmed.
Expecting huge Q4 number and currently believe that this sell off in $AMZN, $NOW, $GOOG and others to put up big number in Q4 with buyers front loading payments and pulling forward renewals.
Q4 could be a huge quarter for software vendors selling into California.
SB 122: starting Jan 1, 2027, CA sales tax hits prewritten software and SaaS, including out-of-state vendors.
Procurement teams now have a hard deadline. Watch the Q4 bookings 👇
The catch: SaaS subscriptions are taxed on any period starting Jan 1, 2027 or later, move the start date a provisioning to Dec 31st, 2026 and boom millions in savings.
But every CFO now has to price in the new tax, and that alone forces the renewal conversation into Q4.
Rules are still draft. Not tax advice.
Quant nerds, would you run this?
$MNQ short only algo, fixed $750 risk per trade, max 5 contracts
94 trades
33% win rate
PF 2.26
Expectancy +$98.52/trade
Max DD $1,185
Largest loss $716 (under the $750 cap)
The catch: outliers are $6.9K of the $9.3K net.

Banks get to offer BTC-backed loans without building the lending protocol. The lending happens on Ethereum DeFi. That's the onboarding path institutions have been waiting for.
JUST IN: Chainlink $LINK launches 24/7 pricing for tokenized stocks, coming soon to Aave loans
Chainlink is talking revenue. "I think you will see more and more cases where the TradFi institutions will adopt the token because it has value."
The Chainlink Reserve: onchain AND offchain revenue (stablecoins, BTC, ETH, even fiat) gets converted into LINK and held in a strategic onchain reserve.
More tokenization means more revenue, which means more LINK in the Reserve.
$LINK plays critical role.
