George "Geweld" Thomas is a notorious South African gangster and highly influential leader of the 28s prison gang. Known by his nickname "Geweld" (meaning violence), he grew up in the Cape Flats community of Bishop Lavis and climbed to infamy within South Africa's brutal gang landscape. In 2015, Thomas was the central figure in one of the largest and most complex gang prosecutions in Western Cape history. The trial spanned over five years and exposed his extensive criminal enterprise. He was found guilty on 53 charges out of an initial 166 counts. His convictions included seven counts of murder, racketeering under the Prevention of Organised Crime Act (POCA), attempted murder, housebreaking, and various firearms and ammunition offences. The Western Cape High Court sentenced Thomas to seven life terms plus an additional 175 years in prison. The trial revealed that while in solitary confinement, Thomas managed to make and receive roughly 33,000 phone calls, using smuggled mobile phones to orchestrate the murders of state witnesses scheduled to testify against him. Six witnesses were murdered over the course of the trial.

Football myths and truths. New manager bounce; Michael Carrick's rescue act as interim manager, guiding Man United to a 3rd place finish. Second season syndrome; Michael Carrick and Man United coming down to earth with a thud in the new season.

INEOS started hawking Rashford around, long before he said the things he said, including wanting a new challenge. It would be naive (I don't think you are) to buy the narrative that the club wanted him out primarily because of his attitude. He was a victim of austerity measures.
Marcus Rashford. I know this won't be very popular with some fans, but for me, he shouldn't be in that team, I think the only reason he is, maybe has something to do with the fact they couldn't get rid of him, and him being on so much money. I think the things he said, and did prior to him leaving the first time to go out on loan to Villa was enough for me. It was never the original plan to bring him back either, and that's why they gave his 10 shirt number to Matheus Cunha when we signed him. I might be wrong, but in my opinion we were playing some decent football at the very start of pre season before the England lads were due back from their extended break, and when the news came out around that time Barcelona had decided not to trigger the buy clause for Marcus, and instead sign Anthony Gordon, was the moment all the talk of Marcus being integrated back into the team, and joining up for pre season. I think integrating Marcus Rashford back into that team, and just in that Manchester United environment alone in itself, has done more harm than it has good, it was never the plan to have him come back, that is the feeling that I got, from us looking okay before he came back to the club, to the point he was wearing the same shirt that nobody ever anticipated him to put on again at the back end of pre season, where I believe things started to change, and that will have an effect on the squad, as he was never seen as part of the original plan for this season, it just all suddenly changed when Barcelona said they didn't want him, and now he's seen as Michael Carrick's first choice left winger. I can't imagine Matheus Cunha is going to be that happy about it, or being asked to play in a role that goes against his traits because the manager wants Rashford on the left side. I think Cunha needs to be on that left side coming inside, running at people, or in a similar role to Bruno where he can be free, to find pockets of space. You shouldn't be starting for Manchester United if you haven't earned it, and I don't think the way he left first time round will ever sit right with me, and that warrants to be first choice pick, that's just how I feel about it, so to see him as Michael Carrick's first choice left winger doesn't fill me with much joy to be perfectly honest. He wanted to stay at Barcelona, he never wanted to come back to United, and the club didn't plan to bring him back, it's all a last resort, it's a worse case scenario for him to be back at the club, effectively just putting himself in the shop window to try and get a big club move away while earning a shit load of money in the process. 🔴 #MUFC

You're being hysterical and alarmist, as usual.
I don't think many actually realise how big a talent JJ is. We're not talking Garnacho, Rashford etc. We're talking Yamal, Mbappe potential. If we aren't showing a pathway to development and the first team then you will 100% lose these talents to clubs who will. It's that simple

They will wait until your departure and then impose a pliant mayor. The position you took not to stay beyond your term is just the fillip for the Geo-Pomona deal.

Do VAR and Assistant VAR get paid per gig? If so, take them off the roster until the New Year. Now, that would be a proper 'deterrent'.
The VAR and Assistant VAR from Sunday's fixture will now not officiate until at least after the international break.

Oh f**k off already! Looking for an easy scapegoat for derby shambles.
You all remember when I said the negativity Rashford would bring to this Manchester United team? Exactly what you’re seeing now. The combination of Sesko, Cunha and Mbeumo has been totally destroyed because of one man. He doesn’t provide anything to the game, and if you ask the people defending him, they’ll tell you, “He’s running now, making back passes, zero accurate crosses and defending.” 😭 0 goals and assists, while Sesko, Cunha and Mbeumo already have 2 G/A each. But he’s Carrick’s boy, so he can’t bench him.

Players return to their parent clubs after the expiry of their loan spells - pretty standard. Talking up Rashford's reintegration invites unwanted scrutiny on the player. This looks like another campaign to build him up just to knock him down as soon as he hits a rough patch.

It's not even remotely believable.

Protein-packed brekkie for @yeumchicks: a fluffy two-egg scramble layered over wafer-thin smoked ham and creamy cottage cheese on a slice of multiseed and oat bread. Finished with a sprinkle of smoked chilli flakes for that extra zing. #SimpleFoodIdeas

Cultist followers of the erstwhile manager called Mainoo an "entitled" and "overrated" academy graduate, opined that it would be no skin off the club's nose if he was sold.
Kobbie Mainoo completed 81/83 passes, 6/6 accurate long balls and 10 passes into final third on his full Champions League debut ⭐️
