Recall what the Democrats promised in the 2020 election. Had they achieved these reforms, they would've had no problem defeating Trump in the 2024 election, and we would not be where we are today.
Here's just a sample of what voters were promised ⤵️

The groundbreaking documentary by Lebanese journalist @radwanmortada about Israel’s pager attacks is now available for English speakers.
3 weeks after it was released, the Israelis looted and then blew up Radwan’s house.
Tomorrow pro-Israel fanatics will release a propaganda film in U.S. theaters about the criminal pager attacks.

Dockworkers around the world marked the second International Day of Action of Dockworkers with a strike in solidarity with Palestine and against war, stopping work in ports across the Mediterranean, from Italy and Greece to France, Cyprus, and Morocco, with rallies in Spain, Turkey, Germany, Australia, India, and Oakland.
Organizers said around 100 ports in nearly 20 countries would take part, under the slogan “No Harbour for Genocide,” following a call by Palestinian trade unions to stop arming Israel.

Tens of thousands of workers, students and dockworkers took to the streets across Italy in a nationwide general strike on Friday against soaring living costs, low wages and military spending. The general strike coincided with an international day of action against militarization and genocide which saw dockworkers across five continents and more than 110 ports take action against arms shipments to Israel.
In Genoa, dockworkers blockaded the port at dawn before marching back in with some 15,000 people behind them.
"Workers and students are demanding one thing," protester Valerio Villanova with Potere al Popolo said: "Money for public health, public transport, care for the environment, and wages — not bombs."

For some background, the Massachusetts Senate candidate Joe Tache, a socialist who was polling at 9%, met all the criteria to join the first televised debate. But the Democratic incumbent Ed Markey dropped out and the debate was canceled.
To give voters a chance to hear the full spectrum of views on the ballot, we’re hosting our first our first-ever Senate candidate forum tomorrow night, featuring both Tache and Republican Senate candidate John Deaton.
Ed Markey has been invited, but has not responded.
🔴LIVE | TUES 10/27 | 7PM ET
Massachusetts voters barely get to hear from the people running for Ed Markey’s Senate seat.
We’re fixing that.

NOW: Members of Brazil's Landless Workers' Movement (MST) celebrate the victory of progressive Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva at São Paulo's Elza Soares Cultural Space.
Lula clinched the victory with 51.7% of the votes to Flávio Bolsonaro's 48.2%, a bigger margin than the latter had achieved in the first round of elections.
The MST and other left movements in Brazil had heavily participated in Lula's campaign, sounding the alarm that a Bolsonaro presidency would bring attacks on workers' rights, further destruction of the Amazon and the environment, and the undermining of Brazil's sovereignty.

TPF Responds To Congress: We won’t surrender our First Amendment rights or our civil liberties.
Yesterday, through our attorneys, The People’s Forum responded to House Ways & Means Committee Chairman Jason Smith, after they threatened to drag eight of our staff members to Washington for depositions if we didn’t comply with its demands.
This is an escalation of the same MAGA-led witch-hunt. In our response, our attorneys wrote: “Allowing a congressional committee to haul political activists and organizers into deposition rooms to grill them on domestic and foreign policy viewpoints and expression sets a dangerous precedent of state-sponsored intimidation that chills the right to free speech nationwide and infringes on core First Amendment protections.”
This fight isn’t only about The People’s Forum. It’s about whether anyone in this country can organize, educate, and speak out without being hauled before Congress for it. We will not be intimidated.
We’re in this fight together & we need your support now more than ever! Donate now at peoplesforum.org/fight

We just received a new letter from House Ways and Means Committee Chairman Rep. Jason Smith, which lists out the names of our reporters and editors, and then threatens to individually subpoena and depose each of them in Washington.
Because we’ve held strong in defense of our First Amendment rights, they are now going after our journalists: Rania, Zoe, and Amanda have all been personally named, along with other staff.
We will not let Congress silence us – but we need your help to speak out against this attack on free speech and a free press.

🚨Donate to Hurricane Isaias Disaster Relief!🚨
Members of the PSL are currently working to gather thousands of dollars' worth of relief supplies to bring throughout the Central Gulf Coast region of Florida and Alabama, as well as other areas affected by Hurricane Isaias.
Two people are confirmed dead as a result of the storm, and over half a million people are without power across Florida and Alabama. Local media outlets were warning of "life-threatening storm surge." Across the Florida Panhandle, nearly 10 inches of rain fell in just 3 hours. The storm's full impact on jobs, housing, and livelihoods in the region is not yet clear.
The catastrophic loss of human life and devastation of huge sections of the population are not inevitable - they are the result of a system that refuses to prioritize people's needs.
While the government leaves people to fend for themselves, working-class people always come together to support one another. While people were ordered to evacuate some low-lying areas, no support was given to actually do so, and people still had to go to work. The elderly, disabled, and children had to depend on family or friends who had the money and means to help them escape.
A storm this powerful developing so late in the season during a Super El Niño, which should weaken hurricanes, is extremely alarming. This is a clear indicator that current forecasting is completely inadequate for the warming Gulf waters as extreme weather events become more common.
We demand FEMA and the insurance companies fully cover the costs for people's recovery without delay. We demand an end to the environmental destruction leading to climate change and warmer oceans, which are making these storms bigger, stronger, and less predictable.
Socialists are working to change this state of affairs. We want a society where the people's needs come first, not the profit margins of the oil companies and mega corporations.

Today I marched with New Yorkers to abolish ICE, get ICE out of our communities, and make NYC a true sanctuary city.
Jessica Tisch must be fired, but the real onus is on the mayor, who was elected with the immigrant rights movement’s backing.
The mayor must enforce his own Executive Order 13 and kick ICE out of our city: no ICE staging in public parking lots, no presence at Rikers.
We can do far more to obstruct Trump’s rampaging paramilitaries.

Yesterday, I picked up my three boys from school. That same afternoon, an ICE agent shot another Bronx father, Oscar Belgal, in the neck while his five-year-old son sat in the car.
This injustice sickens me. I can’t stop picturing my own children in that seat, and the trauma they would carry for the rest of their lives if this happened to them.
ICE agents fired seven shots into Oscar’s car, putting in danger every parent picking up their child from school and every worker returning home.
We cannot have masked men brandishing AR-15s running around our communities with a license to shoot whomever they deem a threat. That the killers of Renee Nicole Good and Alex Pretti still have not been charged has sent a signal to ICE agents everywhere that they are above the law.
For the protection of our neighbors, we must abolish ICE and kick every ICE agent out of our communities.
This injustice reflects the betrayal of both establishment parties. Time and again, Democrats have failed to deliver meaningful immigration reform, leaving millions of workers vulnerable.
Now Trump and his team of billionaire bigots feel empowered to unleash state-sanctioned violence on immigrant communities, threatening the rights and safety of us all.
New York City calls itself a sanctuary city. In practice, our neighbors are still terrified to go to work, to buy groceries for their families, to pick up their children from school. ICE agents lurk in parking lots across the city, ready to round up immigrant workers, including the lot at 40 West 225th St., blocks from where agents fired seven rounds into Oscar’s car.
We cannot accept a world where armed, rogue agents terrorize families and violently round up working people for deportation. We need immediate action to defund, abolish, and expel ICE from our cities.
Ritchie Torres, who currently represents New York’s 15th Congressional District in the Bronx, has voted for pro-ICE legislation. This includes Trump’s draconian Laken Riley Act.
Now, with this injustice unfolding in his own borough, he has exposed his cowardice by refusing to call for ICE’s abolition. Instead, he is asking for an “investigation” and for ICE to release footage of the shooting.
To call these demands inadequate is an understatement. They are a betrayal of the Bronx.
By bringing up Oscar’s past interactions with law enforcement, none of which justify shooting him and endangering his child, NYPD Commissioner Jessica Tisch helped demonize him. Tisch and the NYPD are effectively running cover for the Trump administration, which works overtime to paint all immigrant workers as criminals.
Jessica Tisch must be fired. But she is not the only one responsible for the city’s collaboration with ICE. The real onus is on the mayor, who was elected with the backing and support of the immigrant rights movement and must be held accountable.
It is good the mayor has called to abolish ICE, but now he must fully enforce his own Executive Order 13 and kick every ICE agent out of our city. They shouldn’t be able to use any public parking lots as staging grounds. They shouldn’t be at Rikers. A lot more can be done to obstruct Trump’s rampaging paramilitaries.
We won’t end ICE terror by relying on the same politicians who built the deportation machine and keep funding it. We need a mass movement powerful enough to dismantle it and win full, equal, and permanent rights for all immigrants.
Immigrant workers keep this country running, not billionaires. The same billionaire class that has made super-profits from their exploitation is now turning around to intimidate and scapegoat them for the country’s problems. The tens of billions of dollars going to ICE need to be redirected to good jobs, our schools, our housing, and our healthcare. Full rights for all immigrants, now.

Majd Hmaid was detained as part of Israel's brutal crackdown following Oct. 7. In the three years that have followed, around 10,000 Palestinian political prisoners have endured medical neglect and deprivation of basic needs, alongside psychological and physical torture.
After 24 months in Israeli administrative detention, Hmaid was finally released Tuesday night.
