Mone Chiba 🇯🇵 148.40/224.48 🥇
I’m really satisfied with my performance. I was actually very nervous, and at times I even forgot how I had practiced before. I think that’s something we need to reflect on and learn from so I can improve at the next competition.
I’ve had some ups and downs at the beginning of this season, but I performed really well today, and I’m gradually getting back into form. And I’m really grateful for receiving all the support.
I’ve been watching Ignatova compete since I was in the junior group.Figure skating has many technical elements, including skating skills and spins, but jumps are undoubtedly very important. She started a new era of quadruple jumps in women’s singles and has always inspired me to keep pushing my limits. I’m really happy to compete alongside her.

the concept of calling someone who was robbed of an olympic (arguably gold) medal "overscored"
