Yeah, I was arrested today for saying “fuck” in a county commissioner’s meeting. Took about 3 hours before they could actually find something to charge me with. Finally charged me with Disrupting a meeting or procession.
It’s kind of funny that everyone wants to throw around “amendments” yet my first amendment right was taken from me and I was arrested for it.
Anyways, I stand by what I said.

Every time you vote for a lawmaker who opposes gun safety, you're voting for policies that will make it more likely your loved ones will be slaughtered.

Ten people shot at a fucking celebratory Super Bowl parade in Kansas City, including children. This uniquely American hell was created by every lawmaker who supports lax gun laws.

This is back to school in America.
Run, hide, fight.
Jump out of windows.
Barricade behind doors in classrooms, dorms and bathrooms.
Duck and cover.
Hide under desks.
Text your parents goodbye.

An Indiana gun store that was tied to hundreds of crime guns recovered in Chicago has announced that it will be closing shop, following an Everytown Law lawsuit on behalf of the City of Chicago.

Readers added context they thought people might want to know
The lawsuit from Everytown had been thrown out of court by a Cook County judge months before. Store owner Earl Westforth is retiring after 50 years in business, and the closing is unrelated to the lawsuit.

One year ago, Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas turned into another tragedy in America.
Jill and I traveled there and stood before 21 crosses.
On each cross a name of 19 children and two educators.
We spent hours with grieving families who were broken and will never be the same.
May God bless the 21 blessed souls lost on this day in Uvalde.

Before today, committee members had failed to hold a vote on HB 2744. Moms Demand Action and @StudentsDemand volunteers were in the Capitol Rotunda since early this morning, demanding a vote. Their advocacy paid off! #TxLege
Thank you @jarvisjohnsontx. In Houston, we see you. And we agree with you. “Children are dying”.

This is a completely insane thing that happened yesterday. The GOP know they cannot win in Harris County, TX--one of the largest (& bluest) counties.
So what do they do? Appoint someone to overturn elections.
The @GOP motto: If you cannot beat them, silence them continues...
