I thought I was throwing away money when I got a $168 speeding ticket yesterday en route to my son’s volleyball tournament.
Got back home tonight and turned on the Leaf game to be reminded that $260 on Centre Ice to watch this joke of a team was a bigger waste.

I haven’t tweeted about it but OEL has been way, way better the last 6-8 games. He was really good when I was at the game in EDM. He seems to be back to his solid play from last season.
Great time to cash in on him and turn him into a younger D/near-ready prospect.
Goal accomplished for Zack Mack. He’s been so far and away better than what I thought he’d be. He can skate and actually play hockey. He has a little skill. I just wish he’d get some boxing lessons in so the getting-rag-doll’d thing would stop.

Per HockeyStats.com, at 5v5 the Leafs have only won the xG battle 5 times this season.
As a result, they sit 26th in the NHL with just a 45.7% xG share. Last season, they finished 28th at 46.4%.
Tavares & Marchenko back will help, but this is a very concerning trend.
Oh and everyone’s getting sick of 88’s shit. Game breaking talent when he wants to be. Horrible example of work ethic most other times.
