I’m sorry but I need to say this because I’m genuinely frustrated Ticketmaster explicitly said Silver Star tickets were for fans who didn’t already have tickets to The Unraveled Tour and that those fans would be prioritised. So imagine my surprise when fans who ALREADY HAVE TICKETS managed to get Silver Stars too??? Whoever got one — genuinely, well done. But if you already had a ticket and still entered, you just took a chance away from a fan whose ONLY chance of seeing Olivia was this raffle. I would LOVE to go to the same show twice. But unfortunately, like many other fans, I don’t have the money to buy multiple nights. And that’s fine. You don’t need to go to the same show multiple times. And before everyone jumps to “blame Ticketmaster” — yes, Ticketmaster absolutely deserves blame for allowing existing ticket holders to be eligible when they specifically said fans without tickets would be prioritised. They created a system that clearly didn’t work the way they promised. BUT the blame doesn’t stop there. If you already had tickets and knew Silver Stars were intended to give ticketless fans another chance, yet you still entered because you wanted another night, then you also made a conscious decision to take that opportunity from someone who had nothing. That’s why, in my opinion, the blame is 50/50. 50% Ticketmaster for failing to properly enforce the criteria they themselves advertised. 50% the fans who already had tickets and still entered because they wanted even more tickets. I’m not blaming someone who genuinely didn’t realise or misunderstood the rules. I’m talking about the people who knew exactly what the Silver Stars were supposed to achieve and thought, “I already have tickets, but whatever, I’ll have another one.” I would LOVE to see Olivia twice. I would LOVE to have the money to do that. But I don’t, and neither do countless other fans. This isn’t just about Olivia either. It happens with every artist. Concerts shouldn’t be a competition to see who can collect the most tickets. Some people are desperate for ONE chance to see their favourite artist, while others are taking multiple opportunities simply because they can. Ticketmaster should have protected those fans. And if you already had your chance and knowingly took another fan’s only chance… you really need to have a fucking word with yourself.
