For the first time yesterday, I experienced the new @alamodrafthouse QR code ordering system and I can tell you it’s truly awful. Rather than making ordering food and drink more efficient, it actually adds steps to the process AND if you want to order additional items during the film you HAVE to open your phone. No, your cute reference to that irony in your How To Alamo video doesn’t negate how ridiculous this is. Please don’t cut corners with your staff and revert back to physical menus and order cards.

Official statement from ICE:
Homeland Security (@DHSgov) profile pictureHomeland Security
@DHSgov18 May 2025
It is absolutely sickening to compare ICE law enforcement agents to the Gestapo. Attacks and demonization of ICE and our partners is wrong. ICE officers are now facing a 413% increase in assaults. Our message is clear: DO NOT come to this country illegally. If you do, we will arrest you, deport you and you will never return.

member when lockdowns first started & @dropkickmurphys put a livestream on #StPatricksDay to help us through the beginning of that dark time. It was needed. So that nazi fuck @elonmusk suspended their account on St Pats because they don’t fuck around with Nazis! Fuck you Musk!

Believe it or not, in America EVERYONE has rights. 🇺🇸 Citizen or not, we all should know our rights to protect ourselves and others from illegal search & seizure. ICE often attempts to enter homes without a proper warrant. They can go get one. Here’s our shareable guide (1/2):
KNOW YOUR RIGHTS IN CASE OF ICE: CONOCE TUS DERECHOS EN CASO DE ENCUENTRO CON ICE:

ALT KNOW YOUR RIGHTS IN CASE OF ICE: CONOCE TUS DERECHOS EN CASO DE ENCUENTRO CON ICE:

DO NOT OPEN YOUR DOOR. ICE cannot enter your home without a warrant signed by a judge. Tell the agents to show you the warrant by sliding it under the door. NO ABRAS TU PUERTA. ICE no puede entrar a tu casa sin una orden firmada por un juez. Diles a los agentes que te muestren la orden deslizándola debajo de la puerta.

ASK THEM TO LEAVE. If ICE doesn't have a warrant, tell them you do not consent for them to enter your home and ask them to leave. At work, ICE cannot enter employee-only areas without permission. PIDALES QUE SE VAYAN. SilCE no tiene una orden judicial, diles que no das tu consentimiento para que entren a tu casa y pídeles que se vayan. En el trabajo, ICE no puede ingresar a áreas exclusivas para empleados sin permiso.

A couple years ago I went back and read through all of the Garfield comics again in chronological order. As I went along, I screencapped some of the funniest/weirdest/most interesting out of context panels. Some of these are cropped, but none of them are edited. 1/9

Found this fascinating... would love to know this. Were these shot in the same neighborhood @lloydkaufman? Gary Schneider and Robert Prichard in both The Toxic Avenger and Class of Nuke 'Em High? #Troma
