We're postponing our stop work today, but don't think that we're going away. It's taken 9 months for you to get real, now let's bargain and seal a fair deal. Real careers are the key, for staff and the future of Aunty. #DontDiscountABC @withMEAA
It’s wild how common these stories are at the ABC. Why aren’t we nurturing talent? What stories have we lost because people need more secure employment?

A big HEAR HEAR for this. The building is full of people in this position. #DontDiscountABC
I adore working for the ABC, but for years, I’ve been a casual with no security of employment. There are many like me at Aunty. We’re relied on some days to keep the place on air – on many others there’s no work. The loading doesn’t compensate for the instability. I’m @withMEAA.
Our ABC matters. This is about more than a pay dispute – without sustainable careers, the ABC relies on goodwill and overwork from burnt-out staff. It can't go on. Australia deserves better for its public broadcaster and the vital services it provides. #DontDiscountABC @withmeaa

The work we need to do on understanding concussion goes well beyond football. Read this if you’ve ever banged your head on a shelf
last year i hit my head, suffered a #concussion and didn't recover in the 'typical' couple of weeks. i've spent 12m+ working with a TBI rehab team, rebuilding my cognitive capacity and sense of self, finding a path out of the dark abc.net.au/news/2022-10-23/p…
Tremendous work from @Hayley_Gleeson, whose strength, resilience and dogged drive for understanding during her recovery have been a sight to behold

Meeting Logan, 14, was one of the highlights of visiting Shepparton last month — he's an absolute legend, and I left with a burning desire to get a beehive. If you also harbour a secret dream of becoming a beekeeper, have a read abc.net.au/news/2022-06-26/h… via @abcnews

While ABC is celebrating #ABC90, it’s also cutting funding to its hugely important archive that houses so much of Australia’s history. @ItaButtrose’s great #AndrewOlle lecture touched on so much of our past but we can’t let it die - with @QuentinDempster

Really excited to be the incoming federal media VP for @withMEAA with @della79 and what we can achieve in our term. Also great to see healthy competition for President. My vote will be going to @PercyKaren, who has been a tireless advocate for journalists and our industry.
