Some hopeful news after a well-known barn owl nest was destroyed by construction workers on the Upper West Side: birders have seen all of the young owls who were living inside of it return to the area to be fed, after the construction flushed them out.

For those of you mercifully confused by this and her whole... thing, Nicki Minaj wants two things: a pardon for her brother (who was convicted of sexually abusing an 11 year old girl in New York State, a pardon that can only be granted by the governor) and a pardon for her husband (he didn't register as a sex offender in California, a federal offense, which can only be pardoned by the President.)

aside from the fact that lots of jobs are based in NYC... lots of people are from NYC! they deserve a place in the city they're from, if they want it. and THAT dynamic, native residents getting priced out, is happening in tons of less expensive cities across the country.
