I’m stepping back to focus on my book tour and midterms analysis in the months ahead.
I do want to say I’m disappointed by how Special Government Employees, not just myself, have been treated in public discourse. The SGE program exists so that talented private citizens can serve their country without leaving their lives behind. We as a nation can find a better way to welcome those who want to serve their country.
I’m grateful to have had the opportunity. I wish the Department and Secretary Hegseth continued success.

I used to like Thomas Massie primarily because of his support for the Second Amendment, I even donated to his campaign in the past.
Seeing him go full-blown groyper retard has been one of the most disappointing things I've ever witnessed.
Additionally, saying much less actually believing that there will be "instant peace" in the Middle East if Israel stops defending itself and that gas will magically drop to $2 a gallon as a result is truly delusional thinking completely disconnected from reality.
It’s all talk. Just withhold foreign aid to Israel for a month and they’ll stop bombing their neighbors - instant peace, the Strait of Hormuz can be opened, and gas drops $2 a gallon. Israel has been, and continues to be, the biggest welfare recipient from American tax payers.
