🚨 Important Update 🚨 I’ve spent much of this year rebuilding my journalism career - after being ‘cancelled’ for my gender-critical views. The digital marketing business I spent eight years building was decimated. And, just as I was starting over, I was diagnosed with breast cancer. Returning to journalism has been like riding a bike. I’m proud to have broken important stories on Girlguiding, the Women’s Institute and other captured institutions. But I uncover far more stories than I could ever place with national publications. Many are important - but too local, too niche or simply too inconvenient to attract the attention they deserve. So I’m launching [Un]Captured: an independent news site investigating organisations and institutions that have become captured by ideology - and lost sight of their purpose. That includes sex and gender, but also free speech, education, health, immigration, child safeguarding and other contested issues where facts can get lost in politics or ideology.
