This was some major alpha I was spitting. Not every trade gunna be as much of a banger as $INO but will find more misvalued options trades.
I have started a substack. First article is a long vol trade on an upcoming binary. Not totally illiquid but def constrained so keeping to paid subs for now. Might make free closer to catalyst but options pricing might move first. substack.com/@aaronrosenblum…

I’ve been thinking a lot recently about the pipeline into scientific and medical research, especially being from Boston where I still spend a lot of time and frequently hear researchers complaining about the Trump administration supposedly killing science. But even if you believe that Trump administration policies have hurt science (which honestly I don’t), you should acknowledge that it is only after about fifteen years of toxic dynamics that used dubious allegations to throw out those who lived and breathed science, like @DMSabatini, whom I interviewed for @PirateWires—insofar as academia is struggling right now, it only has itself to blame. In Sabatini’s case, he literally trained nearly 50 academic lab heads—seven whom he was able to send to Harvard, five of them women—and all he got for it was being publicly humiliated out of MIT for the not-crime of having had a consensual sexual relationship with a woman in another lab. When great scientists are marginalized and even abused by the system, you know who remains? Mediocrities, those who do everything by the book, color coded, neat handwriting, the types who will never accidentally drink one glass of mulled wine too many at a Christmas party, the types who say “holiday party,” the types who never come across as flirtatious or crude, not even accidentally—but ultimately they will never push the frontiers of science, and they will never attract those who will to work for them either (these days, those types will simply go to San Francisco).

Surprised $GMAB is up only 3% after P2 update on Rina-S which puts it back in the game in the highly competitive ovarian cancer space. Efficacy was strong with a ~47% response rate and PFS of 9.5 months. Safety was better than expected with a low discontinuation rate although >Gr3 hem tox had an incidence of 30% (55% had to use prophylactic GCSF to take of neutropenia) The market is still skeptic because Rina-S is considered a more toxic ADC vs some of the newer topo1-based ADCs from Lilly, AZ, Daiichi and Gilead which also generated slightly higher response rates (50-60%) in P1. While this may still be the case, today's news position Rina-S favorably for its P3 readout (expected in Q4) where it is very likely to beat standard of care chemo (which won't come close to a 47% ORR and PFS of 9.5 months). Approval could come next year and make Rina-S the treatment of choice in 2nd line ovarian cancer. This will block other topo1 ADCs from entering the market via accelerated approval and could make it difficult for them to generate a positive overall survival signal. It could also impact patient recruitment. The best commercial benchmark is Elahere, an ADC approved for a third of ovarian patients selling at a $850M run rate which translates to a $3B sales potential for an ADC approved for the entire population. Safety profile and combinability for earlier stages are the main concerns right now but it is still unclear whether other ADCs are significantly cleaner as their safety package is from smaller P1 data sets.

Something like this
There’s like a million directions I could go with this, so I tried not to overthink it, even though that results in something fairly conventional
