YouTube CHANNEL HIJACKED AND DELETED! On Thursday evening of October 22nd, my Gmail account was stolen through an act of fraud that then blocked me from access to the account and my channel. Very soon thereafter, my YouTube channel of more than 500 videos and 230,000 subscribers was corrupted, taking down the entire library of my videos on ADHD and replacing them with football streams. This lead the YouTube algorithm to automatically take down the site due to copyright and other violations. The channel has since been deleted. This destructive action by a technically sophisticated band of hackers appears to be the work of people who oppose science based views on ADHD and want to cancel public access to such information. I have had to deal with these sorts of attacks periodically throughout my career, especially as I rose to prominence. Such attacks come not just from social critics of ADHD and of my work, etc., but especially those aligned with Scientology and like minded people. It will take awhile to get YouTube to repair the damage and restore the channel. Know that I am working with their support team to try and restore the original channel and content. Meanwhile, as a back up for my video library, I have begun posting these videos at Facebook, X, and TikTok and other platforms so as to have alternative locations for this value archive of ADHD content. In doing so, I hope to thwart future efforts at cancelling of access to science based content on ADHD. Expect daily postings of videos here. I hope you find them informative. Thank you. Russ Barkley
