במסגרת כינוס חבר הנאמנים של הסוכנות היהודית הוענק אות הוקרה לליאור רז ואבי יששכרוף, יוצרי "פאודה", על תרומתם להסברה הישראלית.
בפאנל עם ג'וליה פלאט הם שיתפו בעשייתם בעקבות אירועי ה-7 באוקטובר ובטראומה שהחברה הישראלית והעם היהודי ברחבי העולם חוו וממשיכים לחוות. ליאור תיאר כיצד העיסוק באירועים במסגרת היצירה גרם לו להרגיש שהוא בתוך התמונות, כאילו היה שם בעצמו.
לצד הכאב הם העבירו מסר ברור של כוח וגאווה יהודית: להשמיע קול, לעמוד על שלנו ולהראות לעולם שאנחנו לא מפחדים. אנחנו לא בשנות הארבעים. יש לנו מדינה, יש לנו יכולת להגן על עצמנו ויש לנו עם שיודע לעמוד יחד, בישראל ובתפוצות.
בדבריהם ובעשייתם הם חיזקו את רוחו של העם היהודי והזכירו לכולנו את האחריות לשאת את הזהות שלנו בגאווה ולעמוד על זכותנו לחיות בביטחון, בחירות ובקומה זקופה.
