When looking at your next step, it's not about taking your classroom and totally transforming it overnight. It's acknowledging how one thing you're doing is excluding some learners. And then minimizing that by providing a different pathway for your students say, tomorrow. #UDL

How do I teach writing? I don't. I teach drafting. Writing in school should only ever be an opportunity to engage in the feedback-response process. Drafting's about doing. Writing too often becomes about "doning." Never done. Only doing better. Until we run out of time.

There’s such great teaching & learning when students are in the “doing” of learning. Feedback to guide next steps. Reflection to impact metacognition. Guiding questions to shape co-designing. Teaching is more personalized when we engage learners during the learning.
