We recently learned that there is a Cliff Burton Museum in Swedenβ€”a place dedicated to remembering the legendary Metallica bassist and honoring his lasting impact on heavy metal. Located near Ljungby, Sweden, the fan-founded museum commemorates Cliff, who tragically died in a tour bus accident near DΓΆrarp on September 27, 1986. Opened in May 2022, the museum features posters, original album covers, concert tickets, signed memorabilia, personal accounts from first responders, and even the original drum set used during Metallica’s 1986 Master of Puppets tour. Nearby, a memorial stone placed by the local community in 2006 marks the exact site of the crash. Cliff was only 24 years old. His life was cut tragically short, but his influence continues to resonate through generations of metal fans and musicians. Has anyone here visited the Cliff Burton Museum?
