@objktcom -this screen should absolutely NOT be the default screen when i visit an artists page. It should default to their CREATED tab. Honestly I dont care if the artist is on the social network. Perhaps someday i will. But this is a terrible look and feels like being strong-armed to join something that should be optional.

“The purple is the first provocation. Saturated, imperial, almost offensively flat, it gives the eagle all the pomp of heraldry while withholding the very thing a bird requires: sky. This is colour as artificial jurisdiction, a space belonging entirely to the screen. The eagle cuts across it in a great diagonal swoosh, a gesture so instantly recognizable it approaches a corporate logo. Nature becomes an emblem of speed, sovereignty and predation. Yet Mills allows the image to betray its own manufacture. Along the wings, the silhouette fractures into crude stair-steps; green-black residues cling to the contours like remnants of a discarded reality. She herself achieves a peculiar pictorial equilibrium: the monumental and the degraded, the organic and the synthetic, held together by the friction between a commanding silhouette and its visibly unstable digital perimeter. Majestic, absurd, faintly shabby: an ancient symbol of dominion reincarnated as internet debris. The eagle retains its authority precisely as its image falls apart.”

this part reminds me of the @MovingImageNYC dinner in 2024 - it was buzzing with a funkyness and can make out the made up words on the menu @mitchellfchan made that evoked a beautiful strangeness and while guests were adorned by the magical gifs and honoring of @lm_netwebs
