ALT "We are first-time developers and had no experience whatsoever before releasing our first game, besides working on a few university prototypes. As such, we had no idea what proper localization actually looks like and, honestly, we were a little anxious about approaching a professional localization studio. However, I truly believe there couldn't have been a better choice for us than LocQuest. We had a ton of questions and were met with so much patience and expertise, which for us as newcomers has been the greatest gift! What stood out to me the most was just how thoroughly the teams work. We received questions about things we hadn't even considered ourselves when designing some of the monsters in the game and coming up with their names, for example. It's moments like these that showed me that there are true experts working on the localization and that it's not just "another localization job" for them - they pour genuine passion into their projects. We aim to create more games in the fut

ALT According to steam, you should be localizing your store page. This slide includes a screenshot from Valve’s talk at GDC Festival of Gaming Conference in 2025 where they show that over 66% of users have languages other than English set as their primary language on Steam. The other screenshot is from Steamworks documentation on Visibility, saying that Steam is more likely to show your game to players that speak a language supported by your game.
