While the rest of crypto is chasing the same 50m users, our ecosystem has built a network with reach to the rest of the world. Sooner or later everyone will realize that distribution is the only durable competitive advantage for a network and that we have a massive lead.
#Stellar $XLM
A lightbulb 💡 moment at Stellar’s Meridian when a representative from Axelar spoke about how Stellar has an Edge on the Defi market because of their remittance business.
Essentially, individuals in the regions that benefit from stellar aid assist and the stellar savings accounts, could be the key ingredient to increasing TVL on the network by an easy “click to earn yield” button, or click for a loan button.
This type of decentralized finance could be built into the application itself, seamless and user-friendly, with educational tutorials on how to engage in defi on stellar network .

How many edge cases can your Soroban contract actually handle?

I hear this narrative a lot. It simply isn't true for @BuildOnStellar. For many other chains it is so I understand it, but the narrative absolutely doesn't hold for Stellar.
Look at the data developerreport.com/ecosyste…
Together we've achieved something rare for a blockchain; product market fit where the product isn't a casino and adoption isn't tied to it's token price.
Replying to @kalepail
Yup
But we will only catch people’s attention when it goes 10x 50x 100x
People assume price of token = adoption
Otherwise it’s a 💩 chain
I am a believer and love @StellarOrg
One of the best parts of working on stellar, there is not a better engineering team in crypto.
The partner announcements are impressive, but the performance gains we are shipping to support them are insane.
Great new use cases for the network unlocked by this, especially when you consider the inventory of yield bearing assets available on Stellar.
Spectra is now live on @StellarOrg

Trade PT and YT through an order book from day one. First markets seeded by @GamiLabs, including deJTRSY, the Janus Henderson treasury fund tokenized by @centrifuge.
New use cases for the Stellar community ↓
I believe they call this an RFP.
Feature request: Karen button on AI results.
Use: LLM delivers an objectively embarrassing result - I push this button, it routes to a human who either approves or denies a token refund. No additional context.
Just an implied question, does this meet your quality bar?

PageBook: a good-enough orderbook for Soroban.
We've long deemed classic orderbooks too inefficient to run as a smart contract. This experiment challenges that assumption. Here's a Testnet XLM/USDC market for your enjoyment, feedback appreciated: tomerweller.com/pagebook/
A lot of teams build financial infrastructure backwards. They build the rails first, then spend years trying to convince users and liquidity to show up.
The reason @StellarOrg stood out to us is that the demand already exists. The ecosystem has spent years focused on payments and moving real value. The missing piece was access to the dollar liquidity that makes those applications work at scale.
That is the problem @USDT0_to was built to solve.
The networks that stand the test of time will be the ones that give builders access to the assets users already want.
$180B+ USDT liquidity is now accessible to one of the most widely deployed payment networks.
USDT0 is live on @StellarOrg.
Stellar enables 180+ countries to move money in seconds for less than a tenth of a cent, meaning 10,000 txns on Stellar is cheaper than one wire transfer.
I hate my competitors so much. I will respect them and treat them well. But I really despise them.
Everyone has always told me to celebrate a competitor’s success. I just don’t get it. I want them to fail so badly and for me to succeed so badly.
Every time I see a competitor’s success, I go to sleep an hour later and wake up an hour earlier. I don’t get how some very successful people handle it differently.
Welcome home.

Yield on @StellarOrg is about to become tradable.
Spectra's deployment brings fixed-income markets to Stellar assets, traded through an order book from day one.
Stellar's onchain economy is expanding, and Spectra adds the financial primitives to support it.
Coming soon.
Skill issue
100% agree.
Using a public blockchain is a non-starter for every single bank and government we have spoken with.
Some financial institutions will be fine using public blockchains but there are many back room deals cut in the case of hacks. (Insurance and guarantees)
It’s not as “decentralized” as people make it out to be.
Most of the world's money isn't dollars, so when we say make money move like email, we mean all the money.
Most of the world's governments and businesses don't operate in dollars.
Their debt is coming onchain anyway. Stellar now holds roughly $490M in tokenized non-US government debt, more than any other network. It has led the category since February.

Stellar is the best network for payments, so lots of people use it to move value between exchanges. Those flows are often unblanced, and so periodically an exchange needs to rebalance. Moving a $100m in a single TX for a fraction of a penny is a feature not a bug.
Stellar's stablecoin supply tumbles over past week.
@StellarOrg's stablecoin market cap is currently down some -6.83% over the last seven days, contracting more than any other network in the top-20.
$XLM currently stands as the 13th largest stablecoin chain, with a native supply of around $920 million, just $64 million behind @Ripple's $XRP Ledger.
