How exactly were you planning to go all kamikaze on Charles at Silverstone when you were over 20 seconds behind him? Teleportation? 😂
Let’s look at the actual race:
Lap 47: Leclerc was leading Hamilton by 20.2 seconds.
Lap 48: Verstappen went off at Stowe, bringing out the Safety Car. Both Ferraris pitted, while Russell stayed out and jumped Hamilton for P2.
Laps 49–51: Safety Car on track, there was no racing between Charles and Lewis.
Lap 52: The race finished behind the Safety Car. Leclerc P1, Russell P2, Hamilton P3, just 0.772 seconds behind Charles.
That gap only disappeared because of the Safety Car. There was no actual on-track battle for the win between the pair. 😂
Lewis : « Before I joined this team, when I was in Mercedes, I watched and witnessed the back-and-forth between Charles and Carlos. Several races where they were battling so much that the person ahead just pulled away, and they had the pace to actually win the race.
It’s one thing when that's happening in fourth and fifth as opposed to first and second, and you lose the win. That's significant. The guy is 28 years old, so I don't think it's an age thing. I think it's a mentality thing. It's like do or die. Like, either I win, or none of us do, and it shouldn't be that. It should be, us having got that one-two, which is still a good feeling.
At Silverstone, I could have gone all kamikaze on him and taken him off and lost us the the win, but instead a one-two was there, and I think we got a one-two, or was it a one-three? I'm happy for the team to have experienced that. I'm hopeful we'll work towards a better place in the future. »

"seb was right about charles"
2018: "if there’s no hype around him, then i don’t understand who should be hyped because you walk through all the categories like that, then you belong here"
2020 (seb leaving): "you are the most talented driver i came across in 15 years in f1"
2020: "i will miss charles. obviously he gave me a headache here and there, and we are at very different stages of our lives and careers. but he's certainly a good kid and i think he will go a long way, he will be the man of the future. i hope he gets the car he deserves."
2022: "i watched him and we got along really well, i think. i really enjoyed the time we spent together. he taught me some things, not necessarily about driving, but it was a little bit as if i was looking at my younger self, and it did take a little bit of time to understand that."
2022 (i think): "he beat me fairly. he was very fast. i think he will go a long way if he has the right equipment. we saw it immediately back”
thank you :)

What's happening at Ferrari with Hamilton is absolutely no surprise.
We've seen this before at McLaren with Fernando Alonso and Jenson Button, and again at Mercedes with Nico Rosberg and later George Russell. Things even got to the point where Toto Wolff involved the police over allegations of sabotage.
At some point, you have to wonder who the common denominator is when there have been so many issues involving teammates.
Perhaps there’s a reason Valtteri Bottas was considered his "best teammate." He wasn't a serious threat and followed team orders: "Valtteri, it’s James."

Alonso was the problem
Button was the problem
Rosberg was the problem
Russell was the problem
And now Leclerc is the problem
Funny how that works isn't it

It’s cheating.

"Leclerc doesn't deserve to be in Ferrari"
and where were you when Charles on the final lap in AD23, deliberately let Checo pass him so that Ferrari gets P2 in the WCC over Mercedes
and where were you when Charles in 2024 went from P19 to P3 in AD24 to try and get Ferrari a WCC

The first picture is from Chelsea vs Nottingham Forest on May 4, 2026. Gusto pulled Awoniyi’s shirt while he was attempting to head a cross, and Forest were awarded a penalty.
Fast-forward to today’s Liverpool vs Arsenal game: Gabriel clearly pulled Isak’s shirt in a similar situation, preventing him from getting to the cross, yet VAR refused to award a penalty.
So, what exactly is the standard here? How can two seemingly similar incidents produce completely different decisions?
The inconsistency in Premier League officiating is becoming ridiculous. And Arsenal seem to keep benefiting from these decisions.
We deserve consistency, not selective application of the rules.

One reason why I'm loving Xabi Alonso. Too many head coaches told us repeatedly how much they loved Josh Acheampong but barely played him. He barely talks about him but repeatedly plays him
