The double standard in the Michigan Senate race is an absolute abomination. On one side, you have Abdul El-Sayed, who is laser-focused on fighting to make the lives of working-class Michiganders better. Yet, the press routinely badgers him to defend himself by relentlessly posing racist, bad-faith questions about terrorism — as if being a Muslim automatically puts him under suspicion of being a terrorist. What the fuck?!! Meanwhile, Mike Rogers' bigotry gets a total free pass. He runs on a platform of white supremacy, shamelessly pandering to the most rabid Islamophobic bigots in Michigan, and mainstream media outlets barely blink an eye. The fact that a dedicated public servant is subjected to non-stop xenophobic vetting while a blatant bigot gets a free pass to inject hate into this election is a damning indictment of a failed press. It reveals the pathetic, broken state of American politics in 2026 — a toxic rot engineered, normalized, and driven entirely by Donald Trump.

Here’s a story for you. We started filming without owning the title and had to do alternates. Taft Broadcasting owned the title Ghostbusters as part of their half-hour sitcom starring Larry Storch and Forrest Tucker (F-Troop) and a gorilla chasing ghosts. I had never heard of it. They didn’t have proton packs or Bill Murray. Columbia paid $500,000 to buy the name, but they really should have paid Dean Martin, from whom I first heard the term. In the film Scared Stiff (1953), he and Jerry Lewis (check out his acrobatic stair descent) are in an old haunted castle, and Lizabeth Scott asks Dean: “Who are you guys?” And Dean answers: “You’ve heard of Trustbusters and Gangbusters, we’re Ghostbusters!” For my research writing the first movie, I watched every single ‘ghost’ comedy ever made. Bowery Boys, Hope and Crosby, Abbot and Costello, Martin and Lewis all did such films. Happy Halloween 2026.

It’s not just bigoted. It’s fucking embarrassing that a US President sounds like a bottom-shelf Facebook comment.

This is the President of the United States, spewing more garbage: “If Abdul and the Democrats win, they will open the floodgates and invite hordes of jihadis to our shores, creating a nightmare of violence and terror until you cannot even have a Christmas.” I’M EMBARRASSED.

Now would be a good time to remind everyone of these Trump facts, because apparently some people still need the refresher. Please meet the President of the United States: Flew on Epstein’s plane at least seven times. Just friends, I guess. Pleaded the Fifth more than 400 times in a single deposition. Nothing says “innocent” like refusing to answer a single question about your own business. 34 felony convictions. A record most people would call disqualifying. And 91 criminal charges. Accused of sexual misconduct or assault by at least 26 women. But sure, tell me again how he’s a great guy. 6 corporate bankruptcies. The self proclaimed greatest businessman alive somehow keeps running out of money. 5 draft deferments. Funny how the toughest guy in the room never actually showed up for duty. He said, "no thanks", when asked to serve his country. Speaking about McCain, Trump stated: "He's a war hero because he was captured. I like people that weren't captured." 4 criminal indictments. Not two. Not three. Four. 2 impeachments. A club of exactly one president. 2 of his own companies convicted of criminal tax fraud. Convicted. Not accused. Convicted. During the 2016 presidential election, Trump’s campaign orchestrated a televised Iowa fundraiser meant for veterans but directed the foundation’s money to boost his political campaign. The charity was used to buy personal items, including a $10,000 portrait of Trump. The New York State Attorney General filed a lawsuit in 2018, regarding Donald J. Trump Foundation, alleging a "pattern of persistent illegality" and self-dealing. The investigation found that Trump used the charity as a personal "piggy bank." The apple doesn't fall far from the tree. The Eric Trump Foundation Controversy: This investigation revealed that the charity raised money under the guise of FUNDING THE ST. JUDE CHILDREN'S RESEARCH HOSPITAL, but was allegedly charged over $1.2 million by the Trump Organization for using Trump-owned golf courses, shifting donor money meant for sick children back into Trump businesses. 1 fake university shut down. Trump's charities always involved cheating and grifting. HE AND HIS FAMILY ARE NO LONGER ALLOWED TO RUN A CHARITY IN NEW YORK He and his family are no longer allowed to run a charity in New York because the Trump Organization used the funds for Trump-owned golf courses, SHIFTING DONOR MONEY MEANT FOR SICK CHILDREN INTO TRUMP BUSINESSES. He was ordered to pay 2 million dollars for looting his own so called charity. Paid 25 million dollars to settle the Trump University fraud lawsuit because scamming people who believed in you costs money eventually. Ordered to pay 5 million dollars in the first E Jean Carroll sexual abuse verdict, then hit with 83.3 million more in the second. A jury said it twice so nobody could pretend it was a fluke. First president in modern history to increase the deficit every single year of a full term. Fiscal responsibility, apparently, was always just a talking point. Kept the debt to GDP ratio above 100 percent for his entire first term. Presided over the largest single day point drop in Dow Jones history at the time. So much for the guy who claimed to be a genius with money. Set the record for the longest government shutdown in US history in his first term at 35 days, then couldn’t resist beating his own miserable record in his second term with a 43 day shutdown, followed by yet another shutdown just months later. THE ONLY POTUS TO HAVE 3 GOVERNMENT SHUTDOWNS IN HIS TERMS. Added roughly 2.25 trillion dollars to the national debt in his first year back in office alone, pushing the debt past 39 trillion dollars. Somebody remind me who the party of fiscal discipline is again. Pushed through the largest defense budget increase since World War Two while the debt kept climbing anyway. Purged more than 300,000 federal employees in his first year back. Pardoned nearly 1,600 January 6 Capitol rioters on his very first day back in office, including Oath Keepers and Proud Boys leaders convicted of seditious conspiracy. Law and order, except when it’s inconvenient. At least 40 of those pardoned rioters have already been rearrested, charged, or sentenced for new crimes since walking free. Shocking absolutely nobody. His family’s crypto ventures, including a meme coin and World Liberty Financial, pulled in more than 1.4 billion dollars in disclosed earnings while he sat in the Oval Office. Draining the swamp was apparently code for filling his own pockets. Sent the National Guard into American cities at a cost of nearly 500 million taxpayer dollars in 2025 alone, then BRAGS about lower crime. He has no long term solution - ever. He just sends in the military. The military seems to be his answer to everything. His own tariffs are projected to cost the average American household more than 2,500 dollars this year. YOU'RE PAYING FOR THIS. NOT CHINA. YOU! Got America involved in a forever war with Iran, though promised the exact opposite. Peace deal with Russia and Ukraine on Day One. He has continued to side with Putin and has never admitted that Russia invaded Ukraine - UNPROVOKED. Now sitting at one of the lowest approval ratings of his second term, stuck in the mid 30s while inflation and gas prices make everyday life harder. None of this is a conspiracy theory, a rumor, or something you saw in a group chat. It is the actual, documented record, sitting in plain sight for anyone willing to look. So the next time someone tells you to relax and give him a chance, ask them how many more indictments, judgments, and shutdown records he needs to rack up before that chance runs out. I now have two sources close to Susie Wiles who claim that Trump is preparing a vast misinformation campaign for November 4th, built around conspiracy theories alleging widespread election fraud. The plan? Declare victory regardless of the results, accuse Democratic officials of manufacturing ballots overnight, claim voting machines were secretly manipulated, and demand that Republican candidates refuse to concede. In this scenario, the goal isn’t to prove fraud. It’s to convince millions of Americans that any election Republicans lose must have been stolen.

I am deeply saddened to learn of Walter Koenig’s passing. Although we did not know each other well away from the set, we shared the later seasons of the original Star Trek series and the six films that followed. What I observed, and what so many fans have expressed over the years, was a man who genuinely loved the Star Trek community. At conventions, Walter was rarely content to remain behind a signing table. He preferred to be among the people who had kept Star Trek alive for so many decades. That kind of genuine connection is rare, and it will be remembered by everyone who came into contact with him. My condolences to his family, his friends, and the countless fans whose lives he touched.

MASSIVE BOMBSHELL: DAN GOLDMAN UNLEASHES TRUTH! Congressman Goldman just went live with FBI 302 receipts. Evidence shows Trump unzipped his pants, forced a 13-year-old’s head down, and when she bit his p*nis in self-defense, he punched her and called her a "B." The FBI interviewed her FOUR times while the case was buried. Pam Bondi lied to Congress, claiming “no evidence” of these crimes while sitting on files describing this exact assault. This is perjury and a cover-up for a predator. You don’t get to "save the kids" while your AG hides files of a child being beaten for fighting back. History will remember the enablers. We stand with the children who bit back.

🚨HOLY SHIT: Lawrence O’Donnell just EVISCERATED mentally “lost” Donald Trump in the BEST way possible: “Instead of campaigning on the senator's record, Donald Trump concentrated on the senator's ass. And in the week since then, apparently Donald Trump has not been able to stop thinking about that man's ass. Donald Trump found himself obsessing over more body parts: "I looked at his shoulders. I looked at his feet. I looked at his hand. I looked at his jawline, studying. He's got a jawline. But then I patted him on the shoulder, and it was like a piece of steel. I sort of ... I'm still recovering." He's not recovering. The parts of Donald Trump's mind that he appears to have lost are not coming back. They're never coming back. The fact that Donald Trump was in Kentucky Saturday obsessing over a man's ass he saw in Ohio a week ago, that wasn't even in Kentucky Saturday, is very bad news for Republicans because Republicans don't normally need presidential help to win elections in Kentucky. And the coverage Donald Trump got by campaigning in Kentucky was this headline in The New York Times, "In Campaign's Final Stretch, Trump Can't Stop Praising Men's Bodies."

I don’t care what side of the aisle you’re on, nobody should support this kind of deception. They created a fake pamphlet to spark trans outrage and sent it to every home in Texas. Then their paid shills continued the outrage on social media. Politics is broken.
Hey Texas, you know that fake trans mailer that went out to hundreds of thousands of Texans today? The one that the org itself didn’t send? But that all the right wing influencers received & had social media posts ready to publish where they feign outrage? /1

Steve Schmidt on what Dems must tell Trump when they retake Congress: •You will not keep the Qatari jet. We will legislate against its transfer to you, your foundation or your presidential library. •We will block authorization & funding for your victory arch. •We will appropriate no $$ to finish your ballroom. We will advance legislation to remove it & rebuild the East Wing. •We will replant the trees, restore the public grounds, remove your ornamental vanity alterations & gilded Trump crappola. I would add to this the following : 1. We will develop and pass legislation to cancel the disastrous Citizens United decision and prohibit corporations and other organizations and any individual who is not a registered voter from contributing in any way to electoral campaigns. 2. We will prohibit lobbying by corporations, businesses, political organizations, or religious organizations. 3. We will prohibit the sale of arms or ammunition to Israel. 4. We will abolish ICE. 5. We will end the electoral college and elect the president by popular vote. 6. No person who has been convicted of any criminal offense will be eligible to run as a candidate for any federal office. 7. All Americans will be provided with the same healthcare that Congress provides for its members. 8. Members of Congress and other elected officials will receive their salaries only for the time served and their pensions will be from Social Security as provided for all citizens
