Donors who support fundamental research no strings attached. There are such people and they are a gift to humanity.

Correct proofs.

Cross-validation.

"I don't know" as an answer to a question.

Speakers that explain, carefully, all the data / figures on their slides.

Conferences where hotels are reasonably priced, participants can arrive without much hassle, where childcare is provided and where the goal is science not vacation paid for by taxpayers.

Scientists who cite all the papers relevant to the work their work and nothing else.
