Long Road Sixth Form

PS: It's so hard for young people to find work experience opportunities nowadays, and I know so many businesses who want to help but don't know how or don't have time....talk to me, I have tons of ideas for making it work! Or even better, chat to my friends at @Form_Future, who do all this at scale 👍️

Yesterday I kicked things off with a session to get students in the right mindset: ✳️ What roles are out there? ✳️ Language you might hear - B2B v B2C, agency v consultancy, channel v platform ✳️ What brands do they follow on social media, and why? Then a research project to build up a snapshot of Deliveroo - from the product to the audience, competitors and sentiment (ooh, that's another word to add to the list above). And by the time we get to the Big Marketing Challenge itself, our students should be fully prepped and ready to take on anything we throw at them...! 🔥

Blimey, that came round quick - it's time for the Sookio-Long Road Sixth Form College Big Marketing Challenge 2026! @lr6fc Now in its 4th year, it's designed to give young people an insight into careers in marketing and practical experience too, through a series of fun challenges taking place in 3 afternoon sessions and a full day in November.
