Russia is the world's leading supplier of war crimes. Alongside oil, the Russian Federation exports other "products" to the world: death, torture, and violations of human rights. Ukrainian prisoners of war remain the most vulnerable in this system. For them, "Made in Russia" is synonymous with violence. Stopping the export of war crimes, freeing all prisoners, and holding perpetrators accountable are questions of survival. The project "Made in Russia. Delivered into Captivity" – coming soon. @AzovstalFam @MFA_Ukraine @mihr_ua

❗️Humanitarian Mission to Oleshky: Demining Completed, Humanitarian Convoy Ready for Dispatch Preparations for the humanitarian mission to Oleshky have reached their final stage. Demining of the designated routes has been completed, and the humanitarian convoy has been assembled and is ready for dispatch. It is expected to arrive at the central hospital, where all necessary assistance will be provided to civilians. ‼️Those wishing to leave the city will have the opportunity to do so until 2:00 p.m. All necessary security measures will be put in place. Humanitarian aid distribution is scheduled to begin after 2:30 p.m. ☝️Representatives of the Ukrainian, Russian and United States delegations have gathered to coordinate further steps within the humanitarian mission. Journalists from all three countries are also present. We are carrying out this humanitarian mission jointly with Yana Lantratova, Commissioner for Human Rights in the Russian Federation, with the mediation and coordination of U.S. First Lady Melania Trump. Our shared goal is to deliver humanitarian assistance to the civilian population and facilitate the safe departure of everyone wishing to leave the city. 👉 I am grateful to U.S. @FLOTUS for her personal involvement, mediation and coordination efforts, which made it possible to reach important humanitarian agreements. We continue working with Yana Lantratova to ensure their implementation. Our unwavering priority is the lives and safety of civilians.

I am still on my way to Oleshky. Our humanitarian mission is ongoing. ℹ️ I see that people on social media are already commenting that I am on the territory of the Russian Federation. Many questions and provocative messages are emerging. I want to clarify: I am going there to be on the ground in person and see what is happening firsthand, and to keep you informed about the progress of the mission. I ask you to trust official sources and not draw conclusions based on unverified reports. ☝️ One cannot even imagine how difficult these negotiations have been, and how long they took to get me to where I am now. But we have only made it halfway toward our goal. That is why I ask you to please hold all questions until I return home. Once again, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to everyone who helped make this mission possible, including citizens of the United States of America who contributed to this process. My thanks also go to all Ukrainians who took part in rallies abroad and made sure that the issue of Oleshky did not disappear from the public agenda. Thank you to everyone who made an effort to help. ❗️ And finally, let me answer one question: why am I going there in person? Because when it comes to saving people, it is important to be there with them. It is important to understand what is happening on the ground and to make every possible effort to ensure that the agreement reached is implemented. And if I had to go there to save just one person, I would do it again. I believe this is my duty as Ombudsman. When there are people — our people — who need help, we must save them. Period.

❗️Today, Russian forces struck a railway station platform in Dnipro, where a train carrying civilians was present. According to preliminary reports, 13 people have been killed and many others injured. Emergency services are working at the scene, providing assistance to those affected. These attacks are yet another horrific example of ongoing crimes against Ukraine and its people. My condolences to the families of those killed. I wish the injured a speedy recovery.

The terror against Ukrainian civilians continues: 📌In Chernihiv, two 15-year-old girls were killed when a Russian cruise missile struck the city center. At least 15 people have been reported injured, including three children. Eleven people are currently in hospital. 📌In Kremenchuk, today's attack on a residential building has reportedly killed three people and injured 11 others, including three children. Such attacks on civilians continue every day. This must stop. My deepest condolences to the families of those killed.

❗️The demining operation is proceeding successfully. We are preparing humanitarian aid for the residents of Oleshky. Demining of the routes necessary for the humanitarian mission is currently underway. At the same time, we are already assembling the humanitarian aid shipment, which we plan to deliver to Oleshky tomorrow. ℹ️ The ceasefire has now been in effect for 54 hours. It began on October 27 at 3:00 a.m. Kyiv time. The parties are fully complying with the agreed-upon terms, and no violations of the ceasefire have been recorded. This has been made possible, in particular, thanks to constant communication between me and Yana Lantratova, the Human Rights Commissioner of the Russian Federation. We remain in contact and are coordinating the implementation of the agreements reached. I would like to extend a special thank you to U.S. First Lady Melania Trump (@FLOTUS), who is personally devoting her time and attention to the humanitarian mission and to assisting civilians in Oleshky. ‼️We continue to work on implementing the agreements. Kherson: Monitoring Compliance with the Ceasefire ☝️ “The most important thing is peace.” These are the words we hear most often from people in the Kherson region today. During his conversations with local residents, my Representative, Vasyl Donets, heard numerous requests to continue efforts aimed at securing the ceasefire. For the second day in a row, we have been monitoring and verifying compliance with the ceasefire. ❗️The ceasefire has had a tangible impact on the city itself. Kherson, which had been under constant shelling, has literally come back to life. There are more people on the streets, and urban life has picked up. People are going outside without fear, taking walks and enjoying the autumn sunshine. What may be an ordinary part of everyday life for some is now the greatest wish of Kherson residents. Let me remind you that, as of 12:00, the Ukrainian and Russian sides continue to fully honor the agreement. The ceasefire began on October 27 at 03:00 Kyiv time (04:00 Moscow time) and will remain in effect until November 1 at 22:59. This will enable us to carry out a humanitarian mission that we are conducting jointly with Yana Lantratova, Commissioner for Human Rights in the Russian Federation, with the mediation and coordination of U.S. First Lady Melania Trump (@FLOTUS). As head of the Ukrainian negotiating team, I will keep the public and the media promptly informed about the progress of the mission and compliance with the agreement. I understand just how much attention this issue is receiving. ‼️But behind all the negotiations, agreements and diplomatic efforts, there are, first and foremost, people — their lives, their safety and their hope for a peaceful future. And it is for their sake that we must continue this work.

☝️I welcome the findings of the UN Independent International Commission of Inquiry on Ukraine, which qualify Russia’s attacks on Ukraine’s energy infrastructure as war crimes and the widespread deprivation of essential services as crimes against humanity. The report also documents human trafficking for the recruitment of foreign nationals into the Russian armed forces, involving men from 29 countries. These findings must strengthen international pressure on Russia and contribute to bringing those responsible to justice. Documentation of crimes must be followed by effective legal accountability.

A Russian ballistic missile struck near a university dormitory in Kyiv. The windows of the building were shattered. At least 10 people were injured, most of them students living in the dormitory. In another district, one person was killed. The body was found near a supermarket. This is an attack on the city, on civilian infrastructure, and on places where young people study, live, and build their futures. No war crime should go unpunished. Every such crime must be properly documented, and those responsible must be held accountable. Our task is to ensure that the pursuit of justice does not stop at mere words. I extend my sincere condolences to the family and loved ones of the person who was killed. I wish the injured strength and a speedy recovery.
