Absolutely overwhelmed last night at @WeAreTheFSA awards
winning Pundit of the Year amongst such talented people
Thanks so much for everyone who voted for me.
It has been a tough 2 years professionally but last night showed me there’s a lot more light than dark in football ❤️
Awful news. 😔
What a player KK is 🤗
Paris Saint-Germain have confirmed winger Khvicha Kvaratskhelia is set to undergo surgery after sustaining an anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury during Tuesday’s Champions League victory over Barcelona.
The 25-year-old started the game at Parc des Princes but was forced off just before the hour mark after landing awkwardly as he challenged Barcelona full-back Xavi Espart.

How on earth are Man City still claiming innocence?
If they have this body of evidence, like they say they do, why don’t they show it to prove that innocence?
Feel for the proper City fans

Yesterday, we lost a cherished member of our family.
We got Sunny at the start of our second term in the White House, and all of us – including our first dog, Bo – immediately fell in love. We also had trouble keeping up with her, for Sunny was a force of nature. Athletic and full of boundless energy, she leapt over the hedges on the South Lawn like they weren’t even there, chasing squirrels, birds and anything else that moved. And whereas the way to Bo’s heart usually involved a treat, Sunny was more interested in having us run around with her, roll on the floor with her, or have her belly rubbed for as long as we were willing.
She loved the girls, even if they were pestering her when she was napping. She loved our team, and would often follow them around, helping them on the job. She was fiercely protective of Bo, who she rightly sensed wasn’t always as alert and attentive as she was. She had her eccentricities: other than Bo, she preferred people to dogs; she was a loud and sloppy drinker; and despite being a Portuguese Water Dog, she hated getting wet.
But as far as our family was concerned, she was pretty much perfect, and for thirteen years, she would be by our side – always loyal, always sweet, always ready for adventure, still fiery and gorgeous till the very end of her days.
We will miss her terribly, and imagine she’s with her big brother now, making sure he’s okay.
What a woman!
Ireland came out in their numbers to support her last fight

“It worked, boom.”
That’s Nigel Farage celebrating a Reform UK plot to break election law - by having a US company secretly pay for three influential political polls that benefitted the party.
Earlier in the investigation, Reform’s Head of Policy James Orr and senior advisor Dan Jukes arranged for a Verbatim reporter to pay for the polls through a US company. Orr and Jukes believed the firm was run by the reporter’s American father.
Mr Farage was filmed by undercover reporters from @Verbatim_Media as part of a year-long investigation that Channel 4 News has thoroughly checked and verified.
This meeting took place in his Clacton constituency in July - when Mr Farage was fighting a by-election he called after separate allegations about his finances.

Anthony Gordon is very impressive.
Great example for young players.
He leaves no stone unturned in his preparation, getting the maximum out of himself to get the edge.
Then he works harder than anyone else on & off the pitch
Have to admire that and he’s getting the rewards now! #barca
Be more Dolly 💜
The doctor who delivered Dolly Parton in a one-room Tennessee cabin in 1946 was paid with a sack of cornmeal. Her father farmed other people's land and could not read or write. Eighty years later, the reading program she built in his name has mailed more than 300 million books.
She wrote "I Will Always Love You" on the same afternoon she wrote "Jolene," as a goodbye to Porter Wagoner, and released it in 1974. Elvis wanted it. The night before the session, Colonel Tom Parker called and said Presley would only record it if they got half the publishing, meaning half of everything the song ever earned. She had been in Nashville ten years by then. She said no, and cried all night. Whitney Houston cut her version in 1992, held number one for fourteen weeks, and Forbes later put Parton's royalties from it near $10 million. She put some of that money into an office complex in Nashville and called the place the house that Whitney built.
Dollywood opened in Pigeon Forge in 1986 because she wanted paychecks in the county she came from. Around 4,000 people work there now. Three million visitors come every year. The University of Tennessee put its economic impact at $1.8 billion, and it is the largest employer in Sevier County. Since 2022 the company has paid tuition, fees, and books in full for every worker from their first day, seasonal hires included.
Wildfires tore through those mountains in November 2016, killing fourteen people and destroying more than 2,400 buildings. Her foundation was handing out money within 48 hours. Every family that lost a home got $1,000 a month for six months, regardless of income. The final check was $5,000. Total delivered: $8.9 million.
In April 2020 she sent $1 million to Vanderbilt for coronavirus research. When Moderna's vaccine results ran in the New England Journal of Medicine that November, her fund appeared in the footnotes.
Carl Dean, her husband of nearly sixty years, died in March 2025. The note she wrote to fans afterward ended with the same five words she wrote for Porter Wagoner back in 1974. She died in Nashville today. Her family asked that instead of flowers, people give to the Imagination Library, which still mails 3.4 million books a month to children who will never get to meet her.
These people have no shame.

For too long Westminster has run on who you know and what school you went to.
That's how Britain got the rotten political class it has.
Reform is doing it differently.

I personally don’t think Gary Speed was selfish, or Graham Thorpe, or Ricky Hatton, or David Bairstow, or David Kelly, or Justin Fashanu, or Chester Bennington, or Chris Cornell, or the 6,190 people who died by suicide in the UK in 2024.
It remains the biggest killer of men under 50 and women under 35, if you’re struggling call Samaritans on 116 123.

I’ve noticed a lot of people now taking the moral high ground on the Jason Arday case. He was vulnerable, living on the edge, and when confronted he appeared overwhelmed. Public interest was understandably triggered, and the intensity of the media coverage was predictable, as was his need for support.
There are lessons to be learned all round. But some of those now pontificating about the case are the same people who regularly and relentlessly criticise others online without a second thought for the impact of their words. Looking in the mirror is often harder than pointing the finger.

The term “witch hunt” is overused in politics. Perhaps not this time. Quite a bit of the British media should ask themselves some serious questions as to whether the tenor and volume of the coverage they gave to this man was remotely proportionate. Likewise there are questions for Cambridge- and whether they discharged their duty of care.
JASON ARDAY has been found dead.
Arday was found “unresponsive” at an address in Battersea on Friday afternoon. He was later pronounced dead.
A spokesman for the Met said officers were called by the London Ambulance Service at 3.12 p.m.
“Sadly, a 41-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene. His next-of-kin have been informed and are being supported by officers.
At this time his death is being treated as unexpected, but is not believed to be suspicious. The case is being investigated by officers from the Met’s Central South Command Unit. A file will be prepared for the coroner.”
