lugg

Dark mode is finally here on the Lugg app and website. Easier on your eyes at night. Better for battery life on OLED screens. And, honestly, it just looks good. See what’s new: lu.gg/dark-mode-x

Heading somewhere warmer for the winter? Decide early what travels and what stays: bring the essentials, store the seasonal stuff, and don't drag the whole apartment. A Lugg can handle the storage run before you go, so you're leaving light.

If you're putting things in a storage unit for the winter, skip these in an unheated one: electronics, candles, leather, wood veneer, and anything with liquid. Temperature swings warp and crack more than people expect. Everything else, we'll haul over for you.

Need movers but not a truck? Movers only is new everywhere you book a Lugg: pick your crew and a time, same day or scheduled. Labor billed by the minute, no hourly minimum. lugg.com/blog/movers-only?ut…

Heading to a fall flea market? Two checks before you fall in love with a piece: will it actually fit in your car, and can it get up your stairs at home? If the answer's no, don't walk away. Your Luggers can meet you there and get it home.

Most people wait until January to declutter, right when donation centers are packed. Go in October and you skip the rush. Load up what you're donating and your Luggers can drop it in one run, so you're not fitting a dresser into a sedan.

12 years of Lugg, and the best part has always been the people. The crews who show up and everyone who lets us lend a hand. To say thanks, we are holding a giveaway! Head to our birthday giveaway post on Instagram, Facebook, or TikTok to enter and see the full rules. 💙

Before you store the patio set for winter: let it dry fully, don't stack damp cushions, and cover it. Then it's ready to come right back out in spring. No room in the garage? Your Luggers can run the whole set to a storage unit and bring the heavy indoor stuff back in the same trip.

One of our favorite jobs this month: we helped transport Johnny 5 and the @os3robotics robots to The Hardware Showcase of San Francisco for #SFTechWeek, then back home the same day. Tall, heavy, and not the kind of thing that fits in a car. If you need to move something big in the Bay Area, that's what we do. 🤖🚚 Thanks @itisadyan and @risos8200 for having us.

Eyeing a new sectional for cozy season? Measure two things before you buy: the doorway (width and height) and the tightest turn on your stairs. The doorway is where most "it won't fit" surprises happen. When it does fit, we'll get it home the same day.

If a Marketplace seller throws in something extra for free, your Luggers can take it. Add it to your booking notes if you know in advance, or just tell them when they arrive.

Switching apartments in the same building this season? You can book a move without leaving the address. Set pickup and drop-off to the same place. Your Luggers will move things between floors, rooms or units. Useful for a complex switch, or getting a couch up two flights after you've already bought it.
