This is my proposed fix to background matchmaking! Threw this demo up quickly. You can now start background matchmaking from anywhere, as well as change settings and characters from anywhere! This version I made works fine, still testing a couple things but so far so good!

Features:
- No GSP loss on decline
- No matchmaking penalty on decline
- Preview GSP, Ruleset, etc!

This is super interesting! When I decline a match, I force an error that ejects me out of the game before it starts, resulting in no gsp loss and no penalty for me, then I can resume matchmaking instantly
However, it gives my opponent a match with a CPU!

Some people are crashing out over this but
1. It's literally one person doing it. Block and move on if playing vs them bothers you.
2. Running into stuff like is way more entertaining/fun than running into someone with a bad ruleset.
3. Elite smash isn't that serious

But as for the Incin cheater, afaik they have the whole unofficial package in there. Frame slider with hotkeys for mid game changing that causes input drops. Quick Play enabled. All of it. They 100% just took all that and Blujay's work and had AI slop out something lol.

Brotha, I don't have a clue who to blame back in 2021, but id say if that shit is happening to you in 2026, it'd be @luisitossb 's fault for releasing his shit open source. You don't need his work, but he made more people aware with his clout chasing, and made a modern version.

Do you not notice how it never released (and we have no indication it was ever planned to release) in a state where it forced your stage? There's just no way you aren't aware of that
