MAJOR ANNOUNCEMENT: @SecKennedy announces 2026 update for the National Plan to Address Alzheimer's Disease and Related Dementias.
4 Commitments ⬇️
1️⃣ Reduce dementia risk by confronting long-term risk factors
2️⃣ Accelerate discovery through investment in robust science
3️⃣ Improve care for patients to get clear answers and care they can afford
4️⃣ Strengthen services for families caring for loved ones to help preserve independence
First came macro tracking, then gut health. Now, the next big shift in health is environmental quality.
Thank you @ChrisWillx for the shoutout highlighting MoldCo alongside leaders in air, water, and light quality.
We can optimize our food, sleep, and workouts, but if the air we breathe or the spaces we live in are filled with hidden mold and toxins, our health suffers. Testing your environment isn't a niche concern anymore. It’s foundational.

Flora. Fauna. Funga. 🌿🐾🍄
Fungi are a distinct kingdom of life, neither plants nor animals, and master chemists.
They can produce compounds related to rocket fuel, process radiation, synthesize psilocybin, and break down plastics without oxygen. We’ve only identified ~6% of them.
Now bring that chemistry indoors.
Mold is part of this exact same kingdom. Exposure to damp, moldy buildings is linked to respiratory issues, worsening asthma, and hypersensitivity pneumonitis, with growing research into broader systemic impacts.
When patients report health issues tied to damp environments, they deserve thorough investigation, not dismissal.
Fungi are remarkable. Appreciate their incredible chemistry in the forest, not on a wet wall inside your home.
Respect nature. Keep buildings dry. Listen to patients. ✌️

RFK Jr. and HHS are taking on a health problem that has left millions of Americans suffering while struggling to get answers.
“Mold infestations affect millions of Americans.”
“They debilitate people’s lives.”
“They give you permanent headaches and brain fog.”
“Most doctors don’t immediately recognize them because they are not taught about them in medical school.”
“Many of the people who have it… don't even know that they have it.
“Part of our job in Making America Healthy Again is by identifying the causes, improving the diagnostics, and helping these patients get care.”

Too many patients suffering from mold and other serious fungal diseases struggle to get an accurate diagnosis and effective treatment.
HHS is taking action. We are closing gaps in surveillance, improving diagnosis, advancing new treatments, and equipping doctors to identify these diseases earlier.
Earlier detection can save lives. We are making sure patients and their doctors have the science and tools to act.
Thank you for the amazing questions - loved this discussion.
Your house can be making you sick even if it looks spotless, smells fine, and sits in the middle of the desert. Here's how to actually find out.
@m0ldilocks and Dr. Scott McMahon of @themoldcompany join us to break down:
-The warning signs your home has a mold problem, even if it's brand new
-Why a genetic predisposition decides who gets sick from the same house
-What a real mold test checks for, in your dust and in your blood
-What our own test results revealed, and what it means for you

Today I am excited to announce that Solari Capital, a venture firm that builds and invests in pioneering companies, is emerging from stealth after quietly deploying $350 million across early-stage venture, late-stage venture, and incubations.
What's arriving now is bigger than any technology cycle: for the first time, we're moving from evolution by natural selection to evolution by intelligent direction.
Exponential growth of computational power is ushering in a new technological renaissance that will unlock trillions of dollars in economic value. Intelligence becomes omnipresent, biology becomes writable, and the physical world moves from chaos to order.
We at Solari call this thesis Programmable Reality™.
Solari Capital exists to be a conductor of capital and creator of companies to realize a future of radical abundance and human self-actualization.
I am beyond grateful to our limited partners @RonConway, @ericschmidt , @jimihendrixlive, Stephen Pagliuca, @PeterDiamandis, and many others that believed in us early.
It is a true honor and privilege to support our founders, many of whom are lifelong friends of mine and the firm. They are music-makers, and dreamers of dreams.
Here’s to what we build together.

.@SecKennedy is calling for answers on the health concerns surrounding mold exposure:
“We need to figure out the causes about why this is exploding. Is it building materials in our houses? What is causing it? How do we prevent it?”

“Patients deserve to be heard.”
@CDCgov Director Schwartz on Americans suffering from potential health effects of mold:
“We know there are patients living with symptoms and questions that do not have clear answers. It is up to us to advocate for them.”
Ariana Thacker retweeted
.@CDCgov Director Erica Schwartz: “Mold remains a serious and underrecognized health issue…We know mold exposure can affect health in a broad range of ways, but we don’t fully understand the extent of its impact. More research is needed to understand which conditions may result from mold exposure, and how exposure may worsen existing health conditions.”

.@SecKennedy is calling attention to Americans suffering from the health impacts of mold exposure who too often feel dismissed and left without answers.
Patients deserve to be heard, their symptoms taken seriously, and the science improved to better understand what they’re experiencing.

RFK Jr. shares SHOCKING stats on the toll fungal diseases and mold are taking on Americans’ health.
“Fungal diseases are associated with approximately 7,300 deaths, 130,000 hospitalizations, and 13 million outpatient visits in the U.S. every year.”
“I think those are probably big underestimates of the real impact of this.”
“The total cost associated with fungal disease is $19 billion annually.”

RFK Jr. shares a personal story of how living in a mold-infested house severely affected his family’s health.
“I actually lived in a mold-infested house.”
“Almost all of my children were affected.”
“My wife was very badly affected in many ways that doctors couldn’t understand that went on undiagnosed for a long time.”
“I have a son who had a chronic mold infestation, ended up in his sinuses, and he saw 89 doctors before he was properly diagnosed.”
“It’s completely dictated his life.”
“I saw the struggles that he went through and seeing doctor after doctor who just did not recognize what they were seeing.”
“There just was not enough information out there.”
“We’re not getting the information to doctors about this.”
“Because of my son’s struggles, I now know so many people who are affected by this.”

A woman lived to 117 without cancer, cardiovascular disease, or neurodegenerative disease. What does her biology look like?
Her telomeres were exceptionally short, and her blood and immune cells showed clear signs of aging. Yet her epigenetic age was approximately 23 years younger than her chronological age. She also had very low inflammation, protective genetic variants, and a diverse gut microbiome.
She followed a Mediterranean diet, ate plenty of yogurt, walked, gardened, read, played piano, slept well, and remained socially active too.
We can’t derive a longevity formula from one exceptional person, but I think her biology offers a fascinating glimpse of how aging and disease may become uncoupled.
