This AI "slowdown" reeks of the same failed environmental crisis playbook.
You know, the one China/India ignored while the US spent billions on carbon filters and recycling areas.

XR hardware/software finally hit the threshold for me
Until we transcend the barrier of vanity being the prime driver of acceptance with regards to XR there will never be true mass adoption.
This will take a demographic shift. Gen Z will be the first to break this wall when they gain access to meaningful disposable income.

As of now, 21 people have been killed! 48 wounded! All civilians! In one incomplete day! In one region! My condolences to the families and friends of the victims.
