I’m very excited to be beta-knitting for @WoollyWormhead again. 😁 This is going to be the crown of a hat. 👑 🧢 🌈 #CuboidalHats #WWScarliteHat #WoollyWormhead #knitting

It’s not selfish to put yourself first. It’s being a role model.

Proud mum things: anyone in my house can say “I don’t like it” and at least one other person will respond with “when you turn my voice about”. Normalise making fun of dickhead politicians. 😆💪

Another one. Pōtiki was at a playground yesterday when a random kid said to him: "why are you wearing GIRL PANTS?" Pōtiki: "They're just pants, there is no such thing as girl pants or boy pants." 🥰🙌 (Said pants are very colourful and I wish they came in my size).

Every professional organization in medicine should denounce the involvement of private equity in healthcare. They should send a clear message to their young physician members that PE is bad for hospitals, private practices, and patients. They won’t do it, but they should.

Evil former landlord sold former house and got a fair bit less $$ than he was hoping for. 😆 The cherry on top is that we didn’t do anything to sabotage him (despite being tempted). That’s karma dude. 😎

I think my oral submission on the treaty principles bill went ok. I stumbled a few times but not too badly. I didn’t get asked any questions which was a little surprising.

Today I’m making an oral submission to the Treaty Principles bill. I feel a fair degree of imposter syndrome, but it’s important to stand with tangata whenua on this. Hopefully I can make some good points.

Thinking of @hrasvelgveritas who was a wonderful person, taken from us too soon. She encouraged me to get my first colonoscopy. It’s not the best reason to remember someone, but I feel like she would appreciate it. ❤️✨

With #InvasionDay on the 26th (observed 27th this year) and Chinese New Year on the 29th, I'm going hard on a shared self-determination colour theme. Culture doesn't divide; it brings together. Culture doesn't weaken; it strengthens. #AlwayWasAlwaysWillBe 🖤💛❤️

Perimenopause sucks. I’m so over it, and being told that I’m too young for it. 😣

A reminder that the deadline for submissions on the Treaty Principles bill is tomorrow. I have made a submission, it’s not long but it’s heartfelt and in my own words. #nzpol #TeTiriti

At the @Qantas checkin, where my suitcase is quite the talking point. @VirginAustralia staff took photos, horrified, blissfully unaware that their airline had the same policy til we forced them to quietly drop it some years ago.

When people think of menswear crafted with a high-degree of workmanship, they think of places such as France, Italy, and the UK. Some may think of Japan. But few will think of India, even though some of the most incredible workmanship is happening there now. Let me show you. 🧵

Ooh yeah, Te Waipounamou delivers! This is after the cheap raspberries we found yesterday.

Aotearoa excels at some things. I had blood taken at lunchtime (12.30pm) yesterday. I got an email at 5.28pm that the results were available via the patient portal. I believe they had already been reviewed by my GP as well! 👩🏽‍⚕️
