Florida State University President Richard McCullough informed head football coach Mike Norvell this afternoon that FSU is making a change in the leadership of its football program, effective immediately. FSU Athletics Hall of Fame member Rick Stockstill has been named interim head coach.

If that original 321nole guy had actually downed the Solo cup of dog poop back in 2024, the curse never starts. FSU skips the 2-10 meltdown, Norvell never sits on the hottest seat in CFB, and right now the Seminoles are probably sitting pretty at 5-0 instead of grinding out a 3-2 recovery. One spoonful might have changed everything.
