It's still crazy for me that our slush event debut will be the best event of the slush week 🤯
AI made it easier to build, but what is actually worth building?
It's a question many founders ask themselves when starting a new company today.
We are trying to answer this question in Helsinki on the 18th of November, with the most stacked panel we have ever hosted:
It will be a conversation with:
Alexey Milovidov (CTO of @ClickHouseDB)
Erik Bernhardsson (CEO of @modal)
One more speaker TBA
Moderated by Matt Robinson from @Accel
Engineers & technical founders can sign up now: luma.com/best-slush-event

Prince is an absolute force of nature - the kind of founder who can move mountains.
So proud to partner with him building the infrastructure layer for local AI: build AI features that run on-device on Apple Silicon, and deploy them to users' devices.
Let’s go! 🇪🇺🇵🇱
Today we're coming out of stealth, introducing Neywa Labs 🚀
We built the infrastructure to build and deploy AI that runs on the devices people already own. Private, offline, unlimited.
One mission: make AI available to everyone in the world.

before all these immigrants arrived in France, the french were famous for a culture of resolving conflict peacefully, WITHOUT breaking things, burning and looting, violence, storming buildings and decapitating anyone.
title for best meetup name, no doubt!
happy to a part of it ☺️ h/t @ifesdjeen for making it happen

"When ClickHouse stops being a Postgres replica" is our talk at AI Builders and Databases by @ClickHouseDB x @ManychatHQ x @whitecircle
We're done pretending ClickHouse is a columnar Postgres. It isn't. It never was.
Come hear what it actually is, today at 6:30 pm

How do you know an MCP server actually makes SRE agents better? 🎯
clickhouse.com/blog/benchmar…
We benchmarked the ClickStack MCP server against direct SQL across five reproducible incidents. The result: 18% more accurate root-cause and remediation outcomes, 26% fewer tool calls, and 2.4× more consistent results run over run.

Welcome to ClickHouse, @andy_pavlo 👋
We're launching ClickHouse Labs, a new research group advancing foundational database technology, led by Andy as VP of Database Research.
Andy is an award-winning database researcher, professor at Carnegie Mellon University’s Computer Science Department and longtime leader of the CMU Database Research Group. At ClickHouse Labs, he'll build a team to take on the hardest problems in database systems, testing their work on real workloads and publishing it in the open, across both ClickHouse and PostgreSQL.
