Comments that describe what isn't obvious (or edge cases) from reading the code still make sense to me. If the comment describes what the code does, that's useless
Replying to @erikdunteman
this is why we just banned comments in our codebase. agents love justifying their lazy hacks with comments, and before you know it the hack spreads everywhere

A stupid example: // This event name contains a historical typo. // Changing it would break existing customer integrations. track('$autocapture_initalized') I appreciate the comment above, agents as well, otherwise, this would be fixed, and break the world

I was in SF last week and saw someone walking their dog, well a @UnitreeRobotics robot dog in the Dogpatch district They really took the "dog" part seriously πŸ˜‚ Is SF living in 2050, or am I just stuck in 2026?

Debugging with agents is so nice now. @PostHog Self-driving can open the PR, then the agent runs the emulator, clicks around, and validates ingested data via PH MCP. I basically just write English and watch emulators πŸ“· Used to do all of this manoelly

🐷 You can now set up @posthog in an Expo app with one command, and every event it captures knows which EAS update it came from. 𝚎𝚊𝚜 πš’πš—πšπšŽπšπš›πšŠπšπš’πš˜πš—πšœ:πš™πš˜πšœπšπš‘πš˜πš:πšŒπš˜πš—πš—πšŽπšŒπš Details are in the changelog: expo.dev/changelog/posthog-i…

Tried @grok Build using the free quota with a single prompt: "Review this PR" (~2k LoC). It spent about two minutes working through it, then hit me with "click here to upgrade" before giving me anything useful. I do like their TUI, though.
