I thought it would be cool to have an independent and decentralized UTXO explorer for Bitcoin, so I asked @caffeineai to build it for me. Within a few minutes I was able to move this app into production. It uses the native Bitcoin integration of ICP and supports mainnet and testnet4. What does that mean? Anybody who wants can easily build their own UTXO management application just by talking to AI.😎 🔗bitcoin-utxo-viewer-q93.caff…

Companies have .com. Organizations have .org. Our application for .icp passed @ICANN’s initial review and is now public in the 2026 new gTLD round. The Internet Computer extends the internet. If approved, sovereign software and AIware get their own top-level domain. Let there be .icp

The DFINITY Foundation is delighted to continue its partnership with the WebAssembly Research Center at Carnegie Mellon University. DFINITY began working with WebAssembly in its early days and built the Internet Computer around it. Over the years, our engineers have supported WebAssembly's development, sharing their experience and feedback and contributing changes that have improved several operations. cs.cmu.edu/wrc

ChatT (Pakistan's sovereign messenger app) was architected from the outset to carry hundreds of millions of users. Matt Grogan explains how. OpenChat gave every user and every group its own canister. ChatT packs up to a million users into a single one, and runs four canisters per subnet so all four of a subnet's update threads stay busy. It all runs in Pakistani data centers, with no dependencies on big tech. @Grogan73 @OpenChat

No Vendor-Lock-in, all open-source. Check: internetcomputer.org

We love sovereign cloud growth. Can the Internet Computer be the new tech stack? Yes. It. Can. More details following, and get ready to join the ICP cloud engine party at opencloud dot org. axios.com/2026/08/25/un-sove…

this is what happens when entering the first prompt.
most agent skill libraries solve the first install. almost none solve what happens when the library changes: new skills appear, old ones get renamed or removed, pinned copies go stale. ICP Skills + icp-cli try to close that gap. every `icp new` project now ships with agent instructions that: • let the agent self-configure on first interactive session • support on-demand (always fresh), pinned, or autosync • explicitly do “refresh + discover” so newly added skills surface the choice lives in a small managed block in AGENTS.md. more context: github.com/dfinity/icp-cli-t…

try it: just run `icp new my-project` and open your agent

This is the way!👏 Still working with dfx? Check out the official migration guide here and switch over to icp-cli: cli.internetcomputer.org/1.2…
icpp-pro 5.5.1 has been released🚀 The C++ CDK for the Internet Computer now runs on icp-cli (dfx is deprecated). • icp.yaml replaces dfx.json • per-project local networks on ephemeral ports • your pytest smoketests keep the same API Migrating from dfx? See this migration guide👇 docs.icpp.world/migrating-fr…

the ICP MPC server will be really cool!😎
ICP MCP. One agent. Every app. We asked Arshavir Ter-Gabrielyan for the killer feature. His answer: acting across your apps without switching between them. Move your whole account from one platform to another, and the agent does the app-hopping for you. As long as it can sign in to both, your posts, content, and connections come across. Full conversation below.

Install icp-cli: cli.internetcomputer.org/1.2… ⚠️ Note: providing the branch to the `icp new` command is important ⚠️ 1. run `icp new skill-onboarding --branch agent-skills-onboarding` 2. select whatever template you want 3. switch in to the `skill-onboarding` folder 4. open a session with your agent of choice 5. prompt your agent with a dev task or just say "let's start" (both should work) 6. follow the onboarding, check the results & provide feedback 🙏

Internet Identity is getting an MCP server. We sat down with Arshavir Ter-Gabrielyan to understand what it is and why it matters. He starts with the problem: an AI agent runs in a cloud sandbox. No access to your device. No safe way to hold your keys. The MCP server is the answer. Keys stay in a trusted execution environment, and the agent asks permission to act in each app. Full conversation below.

attention ICP investors > 4 years ago the idea of on-chain loans for BTC was born > Liquidium started as NFT/Ordinals lending on Bitcoin > quickly grew to Bitcoin-based fungible tokens lending > all on BTC > we hit hard limitations while scaling & improving UX > discovered ICP & became one of the most important projects on ICP > raised $4M USD > realized potential of Internet Computer & its cross-chain capabilities > ICP gave the infra for smoother BTC loan experience w/o compromising security and trust > built cross-chain loans in stealth for almost 1 year, announced on stage at Bitcoin Vegas 2025 > excitement but doubt (can they pull it off, can they replicate success? ...) > in Feb 2026 we launched most polished cross-chain lending experience ever (started w/ stablecoin loans against native BTC) > grew our loan book and TVL ~80% MoM on average consistently since > no signs of growth slowdown despite terrible market conditions > second product scaling fast, proving this was not a one-off lucky shot > traction in bear market is strongest signal > now raising again DMs are open to join us in building the future of loans for BTC & beyond
