tuist now integrates with @elixirlang.
we've built tuist's server in elixir for years, and @josevalim has been incredibly supportive along the way. joe armstrong's idea of modeling software as processes that talk to each other is a big part of why a small team can run what we run.
and agents are making us appreciate erlang all over again. they work for hours, talk to each other, crash and recover. processes, messages, supervision. it was already there.
so we brought the build and test infra we have for xcode, gradle and bazel to mix:
- build insights: which files the rest of your app waits on, and why
- test insights for exunit, doctests included
- sharding by historical timing, not file count
- dependency caching
one hex package. you keep running mix compile and mix test.

Attending @tryswiftconf in Tokyo was an amazing experience – we were able to connect with so many iOS developers, sharing our enthusiasm for Tuist and @codemagicio with folks from abroad and from Japan alike.

We use the React Native Test App from @ReactNativeMSFT for Restyle at @ShopifyEng and couldn't be happier. It enables us to focus on the actual maintenance and not the toil of keeping a fixture app up-to-date ✨
