While much of the world watches the Israeli election results, counts seats, follows political alliances, and wonders what comes next, life in Gaza tells a very different story.
This little girl arrived at Al-Rahma Clinic with painful burns on parts of her tiny body.
She knows nothing of elections, political alliances, or politicians’ speeches.
All she knows is that she is in pain.
The world has moved from war to ceasefire, from ceasefire to elections, and from one headline to the next. But Gaza’s suffering has not followed the news cycle.
The bombs may be falling less frequently, and politicians may now be busy counting votes. But children are still living among the ruins, bearing wounds, mourning loved ones, and enduring the consequences of a war that has taken almost everything from them.
And as the world slowly grows accustomed to their suffering, there is something I fear almost as much as the suffering itself: that one day, we will look at a photograph like this and feel nothing.
Look at this little girl. This is what a “ceasefire” looks like for her.
The world may have moved on from Gaza. But Gaza’s children have not been given the chance to move on from what the world allowed to happen to them.

BREAKING: 6-year-old Tahani Shalafah has succumbed to her injuries after being struck by Israeli gunfire in Khan Younis, southern Gaza.

Yes, mainstream media does cover up for Israel’s crimes against Palestinians. That’s why we must keep amplifying firsthand reporting from Gaza.
Today, I shared a summary of Israeli attacks that killed eight people. It barely got any attention.
What are people waiting for? Another horrifying video of a child watching their mother burn alive? When the video of Mariam Ghanem emerged, nearly every page shared her story. Yet several children have been killed since, with barely any coverage.
Why must Palestinian suffering reach unimaginable levels of horror before it gets attention? Isn’t that the very pattern we criticize mainstream media for?
Palestinians should not have to die in the most horrific ways for their lives to matter.
Please keep amplifying news from Gaza, whether it’s a home blown up in northern Gaza, a child shot in the foot, or a family burned alive at night.

Israel slaughtered 7-year-old Juri al-Sufie today at around 4 in the morning in Khan Younis.
Juri just started her 2nd grade.
Her father was killed by israel in June 2025.

On this day in 2023, the Israeli army killed approximately 300 Palestinian children in a single day through separate attacks across the Gaza Strip during the genocide.

Heartbreaking. Heartbreaking. Heartbreaking.
Eight-year-old Fatima Hisham al-Bayook has succumbed to her injuries after being struck by an Israeli bullet a few days ago east of Deir al-Balah, Gaza.
There had been desperate pleas for her urgent medical evacuation in the hope of saving her life.
After contacting her family, I can also confirm that Fatima’s mother and two younger siblings were killed in an Israeli strike on December 13, 2023.
Her siblings were Leen, a baby less than a year old, and Asaad, just three years old.
Israel’s terror and the systematic destruction of Palestinian families continue to unfold before the eyes of the world.
Remember their names.

Today was our second day in the olive groves with the “Protect the Harvest” coalition.
Listen to Amira Musallam from @ucpinpalestine share a horrific story of a mom and two small kids who were violently attacked by settlers earlier this year — in a house that sits just above the olive grove where we harvested today.
These are the kinds of assaults that Palestinians in the West Bank are subject to constantly. We’ll keep shining a spotlight on what’s happening here – in the pursuit of ending the scourge of state-sanctioned settler terrorism.

I’ve been released from IDF custody with a “warning,” apparently because of my public profile (I told them I wasn’t even a congressmember yet, just a nominee).
But several dozen rabbis & participants harvesting olives with me are still in detention. For harvesting olives. They should all be released immediately.
To be clear: Palestinians face far worse consequences every day. These detentions by the IDF are one more attempt to undermine Palestinians’ right to harvest their olive groves, travel on their roads, and live in their homes. Yet one more element of escalating, and very clearly state-sponsored ethnic cleansing.
We’ll update on their status as soon as we hear.

Newly released footage of the massacre at al-Ahli Baptist Hospital in Gaza on October 17, 2023, exactly three years ago today.
The Anglican Diocese of Jerusalem, which runs al-Ahli Arab Hospital, reported at the time that the hospital had received repeated Israeli evacuation warnings in the days preceding the explosion, including on October 14, 15, and 16.
An investigation by Forensic Architecture, Al-Haq, and Earshot challenged the Israeli military’s account of the explosion. Their analysis of the impact crater and fragmentation patterns suggested that the projectile likely came from the northeast, the direction of the Israeli-occupied side of Gaza’s perimeter, rather than from the west, as Israel had claimed.
More than 471 people were killed and over 342 injured in the explosion.
The footage shows horrifying scenes of dead and wounded children, including at least one child who appears to have been decapitated. Scenes that once might have shocked the entire world have since become horrifyingly familiar in Gaza.
Three years later, the world continues to watch.

You will know that these are mostly young men and I would ask the American Jewish supporters of the Zionist state if they support these squatters‘ behavior? You do understand that Heidi Levine is a Jewish woman herself and that offered her no protection from these violent racist, misogynistic thugs. She and I are about the same age, and I’m trying to think about which kind of teenage boys in America would beat up a grandmother. We have problems in this country, but that just would not happen here and if it did the number of people that would jump in and jump those boys is many. This is what we are paying for with our tax money. Is this what you support?

Bernard Baudoux, French mayor of Aulnoye-Aymeries, has spoken after a settler attack in Taybeh, West Bank. He describes being 'thrown to the ground' despite wearing his mayor's sash which clearly represent French colours, 'in order to protect' the people around him.

Today, Israeli bombardment of Gaza killed seven more Palestinian civilians, including a child.
The bombardment of Gaza has not stopped for a single day since the ceasefire was declared. To date, Israel has violated the ceasefire more than 5,000 times, killing 1,511 Palestinians, including more than 340children, and injuring 5,375 others.
These relentless attacks continue to claim civilian lives and undermine the ceasefire, while the people of Gaza remain exposed to death, destruction, poor humanitarian conditions and immense suffering.

I have created a website where I have gathered information about the clinic, our services, our projects, photographs of our work, and the details anyone may want to know before deciding to support us.
If you are able to become a monthly supporter, even with a small amount, you will help give us something we have been missing since the very beginning:
stability.
And if a one-time donation is what you are able to give right now, it is just as welcome and genuinely valuable.
hope-heal.org/projects/alrah…
If you cannot donate, sharing this thread may still help it reach someone who can.
And if you know a doctor, organization, group, company, or anyone else who may be able to support the clinic or help us develop its services, please feel free to contact me privately.
This clinic began with people.
All I hope now is that we can find enough people to help us keep its doors open and continue building it instead of spending every month wondering whether the next one will be the last.
Your contribution may feel small to you.
But when it joins the contributions of others, it can become something very real for the person who will stand at the clinic door tomorrow, needing care.

This is the hell on earth they call a “ceasefire”. Every single day, new bombings and new deaths, just a slower genocide. Imagine our news cycle if this was an Israeli child. May God comfort these children, and punish their oppressors. Ameen
