Saint Michael the Archangel is a fascinating figure in the Old Testament. Some Christians consider him to be a type of Christ.
Whether you agree with that interpretive move or not, it's clear how Saint Michael is victorious: through the blood of the Son of God, Jesus Christ.

The most important lesson to be learnt in the past few years is that most very rich people will ditch their principles at the drop of a hat
There are rumors going around that if the Indiana Fever don’t re-sign Sophie Cunningham, other teams want to try and keep her out of the WNBA, I will lose a tremendous amount of respect for the Fever and any remaining respect I have for this league.
You’re telling me you would try to silence one of the best things that has happened to your league in years? A player who brought attention, energy, personality, fans, and helped sell seats and market your league?
And all because she chose to stand up for girls and women and speak her mind about protecting women’s sports?
If that’s truly the reason, then you’re not standing for inclusion, you’re standing for censorship.
You don’t have to agree with her. You don’t even have to like what she says. But trying to punish someone because they had the courage to stand up for what they believe in is something completely different.
If the WNBA pushes away someone who helped bring so much attention to the league simply because she refuses to stay quiet, that would be cowardly. And I don’t think I would be the only person who loses respect for the league because of it.

If a population has been, over the course of roughly 60 years, systematically emasculated and depopulated, one cannot be surprised when that remnant submits to foreign conquest and domestic traitors without a fight.
The battle for Britain was lost a generation ago.

Please don't just use a ketogenic diet and then ignore all the other metabolic and mitochondrial disruptors that are a part of our modern environment.
One of the very next #metabolicpsychiatry interventions I assist people with after we get their #ketogenic diet dialed in is light. And you may be surprised to know the first thing I come for is their lightbulbs.
LED lightbulbs are widely used in homes because they save energy, but they emit more blue wavelengths than incandescent lamps. Blue light at night suppresses melatonin, the hormone that signals darkness, more strongly than other wavelengths.
Yes, the lightbulbs you put in your house to help save the environment disrupts circadian rhythm, the 24-hour internal clock that regulates sleep, metabolism, and cellular repair.
This study demonstrated that two hours of blue LED light at night suppressed next-morning energy expenditure and reduced fat utilization, implying blue-heavy LEDs disrupt normal metabolism.
doi.org/10.1007/s12199-014-0…
This one showed that conventional LED light before bed reduced fat burning during sleep, whereas OLED (with less blue content) preserved normal overnight metabolism.
nature.com/articles/srep2565…
I assure you, it is really a thing.
And it's low hanging fruit to change change your lightbulbs back to the old fashioned incandescent light bulbs. Philips, Sylvania and Bulbrite still sell these types of lightbulbs. I am a big fan of Chromalux brand lighting and use these exclusively in my home. I have a little 10% discount code if you use this link, but seriously, don't overthink it or over cost it. Just get those LED lights out of your environment best you can or find ways to limit them in general or in your work environments.
healthlighting.com/ketocouns…
LED light creates a kind of misalignment that interferes with the body’s normal night physiology and sets the stage for downstream metabolic effects. For those of you using metabolic strategies to improve mental health, I thought you would like to know.
You are saving the environment much more by excluding things that will contribute to chronic illness later and more medical interventions in the future. Promise.

There is so much wrong with the world that if you spend all of your time consumed by it, it's nearly impossible to be a joyful, pleasant person.
You can recognise the sickness and even fight it, yet choose not to wallow in the infinite abyss.
The end of the world.
The end-times grifters don't want you to know the biblical truth about Armageddon.

Do not miss the cultural and political earthquake that is happening in South America right now…
If Brazil flips away from the communists tonight and if the regime in Cuba is toppled you will be witnessing the complete and total remaking of South America as a nationalist, populist continent…and most importantly American allies.
Freedom is ascendant in the world’s most resource rich and dynamic hemisphere. None of this would be possible without USAID being defunded by @elonmusk and without @SecRubio’s visionary work at State Department and the @SecWar vaporizing narco terrorists and Trump’s unwavering strength.
Yes, elections matter. Yes, your vote matters. Yes, you’re getting what you voted for. Yes, the world is becoming a better place slowly, then all at once.

Accounting has accidentally made it financially impossible to replace an $89 laptop battery.
An employee’s four-year-old laptop now lasts 18 minutes unplugged.
Battery replacement: $89.
Easy.
Except Finance policy says IT cannot approve a repair costing more than 25% of the asset’s current book value.
The laptop is fully depreciated.
Current book value: $0.
25% of $0: $0.
So according to policy, an $89 battery is an unacceptable investment in a worthless asset.
I asked Procurement what I’m supposed to do.
“Replace the device.”
New laptop: $1,684.
Approved immediately.
The CFO saw the invoice and asked why we spent $1,684 instead of replacing an $89 battery.
I sent him the policy.
He replied:
“That’s not what the policy means.”
I asked what number I should use instead of the book value listed by Finance.
No response.
The new laptop arrives Thursday.
The old laptop works perfectly except for the battery.
We’ll send it to e-waste.
Accounting has successfully protected us from wasting $89.

“Brothers and sisters: Have no anxiety at all, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, make your requests known to God. Then the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.
Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is gracious,if there is any excellence and if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.”

Secretary Kennedy, the cheaper operating room in Massachusetts requires the expensive hospital’s permission to open.
That belongs in the speech.
The Boston joint replacement gap is real. Blue Cross reported commercial claims prices ranging from $17,910 to $73,987 in the Boston market in 2015.
More than a decade later, the spread is being presented as a revelation.
Look at who gets permission to compete.
In 2008, Massachusetts removed the exemption that let physician-owned surgery centers open without Determination of Need approval.
The state’s own Health Policy Commission calls what followed an effective moratorium on new ASCs.
In 2017, the state lifted it with conditions. New centers needed an affiliation with a certified accountable care organization.
A center in an independent hospital’s primary service area needed that hospital’s approval. The commission’s conclusion: the requirements effectively gave hospitals approval power over most new surgery centers.
The incumbent gets a say in whether its competitor opens. In the commission’s 2023 data, Boston had one ASC.
Then there is the payment system you oversee.
Medicare still pays hospitals more for many services that can safely be performed in independent offices or surgery centers.
CMS has narrowed some of that gap. In 2026, it expanded site-neutral payment to drug administration at certain off-campus hospital departments and expanded the ASC covered-procedure list. It has proposed adding imaging without contrast at those departments for 2027.
Good. Keep going!
A hospital billing address is not better care. Paying extra for it grants an advantage before anyone compares outcomes.
That policy does not establish what caused the Blue Cross spread. It does expose the contradiction: Washington condemns the expensive setting while still paying a premium to use it.
The insurance finding is separate. Trinity College reported that economist Gerardo Ruiz Sánchez found 60 percent of the negotiated rates he studied exceeded the hospital’s own cash price.
Patients pay premiums expecting bargaining power. They deserve to know when the hospital’s cash offer was better.
Publishing the price is not the same as being allowed to take it.
If a plan shows the cheaper option and then makes choosing it cost more out of pocket, it has built a museum of affordable care.
Please enjoy the prices without touching the savings.
For scheduled care, the buyer needs an offer that can be accepted: a defined episode, a named physician and facility, meaningful quality information, and a price agreed before treatment.
The benefit design has to let the employer and the patient to keep the difference.
The competitor has to be allowed to open.
Markets cannot discipline prices they cannot see.
They also cannot discipline a hospital whose competitors need permission to open.
Publish the prices.
Stop protecting them.
