Did this on top of the pops. Spice girls were no1 with Wannabe

Started in Stone, Rob playing the piano riff for days, finished in Rockfield and Monnow Valley. Monster

Great dressing up video

Another song out of the rehearsal room in Stone. 2 ideas joined together. Seamless

I think that might be my brother John playing some keyboard on this. Not sure Rob got all his bits done before his spell inside

Nice sliiiiiide guitar

Recorded at Monnow Valley. Got the Fender out for this x

Always ace when Tom and Ed would come and visit us in the studio. Always amazing when they’d send us what they’d done and we’d play it back on the studio big speakers at full volume

Rob found a Marimba sound on his new electric keyboard. Love it x

Martin still has nightmares about the American version

Did 2 videos for this because the American record label didn’t think our black and white UK video would get played on MTV. Flew to L.A to do a vid with director Sam Bayer who’d done Nirvana’s Smells Like Teen Spirt. MTV used the UK version

Weirdo got me my first Top Of The Pops appearance. On with Crowded House doing Weather With You and Shakespeares Sister No1 with Stay

Amazing Hammond !!!

Always fancied opening the set with this song. Should do it one day just to see if Martin thinks that the gig is over

Loved playing this live on the last tour. Great video too. Love that the boys got dressed up for the video too.

Didn’t play on this. Still sounds ok though x
