Since Sir Alex retired: 13 seasons, 8 managers, 0 Premier League titles, 2 FA Cups, 1 League Cup, 1 Europa League title, 2 Champions League quarter-finals. When I used to tell folks I supported @ManUtd they used to complain that I had just picked a dominant club. Now they laugh.
Ok @jake_burns18, just when I think I can’t get any more confused or discouraged: The only reason I can think for DTR to be the back up today is so people can’t chant for Winston to enter the game. Any ideas? Protecting Watson ego?

The Oakland A’s were killed by greed. Do not allow the people responsible for this to spin it any other way. John Fisher did not have to move this team. Major League Baseball and its owners did not need to be complicit in it. This was a choice. A wrong one. History will sneer.
My sadness about @stevesilberman is almost matched by the awe of seeing how many lives he touched. I was connected to Steve through four or five tribes, and they all are mourning his loss today.
In Verge interview, @Patrick_Spence says new @Sonos app is “faster and more responsive.” Sure isn’t for me. 15-20 seconds of lag switching between services. Often, pressing play results in spinning circle, not music, and reverts to play button.
@Patrick_Spence I was literally one of the first people to ever review @sonos in April 2005. I’ve owned nearly every product you all have ever released. This app release is a horrific, self-inflicted wound, and the response has been even worse.

Our magazine is profitable. Our parent company makes millions throwing parties using the Sports Illustrated name—a name built on decades of quality journalism.
There’s clear path to SI remaining a trusted institution. It starts with making sure we’re allowed to continue working.
I’m so absolutely sick to my stomach about what’s happening at Sports Illustrated—the horrible decisions that have lead to the destruction of one of the great journalistic outlets of our times, and the chaos and hardship caused to the people who worked so hard to make it great.
Good lord Jason Garrett is absolutely awful on commentary. I’d pay even more to watch this game without him.
Good to see that the site formerly known as Twitter's URL service is totally borked, and you can't click through the crappy links to a real story.

this sucks and is probably going to keep happening as publications are sold for parts to hedge funds looking to cut staff and replace them with robot chumbox generators
