I am a 65 year old white man who will vote Republican up and down the ballot in Arizona.

Tonight I took my son to his martial arts training, and there was a family class before his, so we went early, and I went through the motions of all the current forms the class is learning. I couldn’t do them at full speed or power, but I need to get my muscle memory back. I got winded a few times, so I slowed down what I was doing. I’m going to need quite a few more motion lessons before I get back into full speed class. The new rotation starts in November, so I’ve got time.

My wife just took off for a 4 day work trip, and my 9yo just started his 2 week fall break. Normally we enroll him in martial arts camp for the week, but they’re not having it this fall. So it’s him and I for 4 days. I’m gonna be crazy by the time she gets home. 🤣🤣🤣

I was today years old when I realized that Popeyes is pawning off something that is not honey. I guess I’ll be saying No when they ask if we want it. I have jars of natural honey at home.

Watching a ‘Man on the Street’ segment from Jesse Watters, and he’s interviewing people in line to see Kimmel. It’s easily understood how Mandami got elected.

Whoever did the trailer for Mutiny, it is the most off-putting trailer ever. Mayday repeatedly sounds horrible. Makes me definitely NOT want to watch it. @Sling is showing it over and over. 🤬🤬🤬

Something becoming far more frequent is @amazon failing to deliver on their delivery times. Of course, they now say delivery times are ‘estimated’. But when you need something by 0800 and get $25 worth of goods so that you have overnight delivery, and they fail. Repeatedly. Oh we’ll give you a refund. Lot of fricking good that does. This is becoming a pattern @amazon .

Good morning everyone. I hope you have a great day today. Last Wednesday morning, one of my best friends called me to tell me his wife of 47 years had passed from cancer. She didn’t want anyone to know until she passed. Today I’m going to her funeral.

The truck race from Kansas was rained on, so it was delayed, then switched over to FS2 channel. So I was looking to see if I had FS2. I don’t, so I’ll miss the end of the race. But I did find this:

When the autopsy of the death of democratic republic is complete, the most mentioned name in the report is a POS named John Thune. The rest of the feckless GOP Senate will be lumped in together with him. He’ll be remembered as someone saying something to the effect of ‘I hate my country every bit as much as I hate the President.’ Thune is nothing more than a bag of mashed assholes.

Friends and @PrayerHarbor, I’m asking for prayers for a friend. His name is Rick and I’ve known him since we were both 19. He was at my house just a few weeks ago, and he didn’t say anything about his health, other than having a hard time sleeping. His wife disclosed today that he has bile duct cancer, and that it’s inoperable and incurable. He has ascites fluid everywhere and cancer spots inside, all over. If you could please say a prayer for Rick and his family. 🙏🙏🙏

My son picked his instrument for band today; a saxophone! He’s already learning about it! I wish I could post it, but I recorded him playing, then he stops and looks at me and says; ‘never had a lesson’ and starts playing again! Right out of Ferris Beuller’s Day Off.

Another little update: I’ve been sleeping on my right side (all my life) for the last few weeks so my wife could come in from the couch. I had been mostly on my back for almost a month and I’m a snore machine on my back. To be honest, it hurts pretty dang bad to sleep on my right side. Takes me 30-40 minutes to get to sleep, and if I wake up (0147) it’s almost impossible to get back to sleep. Anyway, the reason for the update; my wife told me to tell her if it hurt, and she’d go back to the couch. She said, ‘I know how you are. You’d lay there in pain all night and not tell me, just so I could sleep in bed!’ Yes! Yes! That’s exactly true. It does and I’m not going to say a word so you can sleep in bed. Why would I ruin that for you?

Getting absolutely hammered with rain, and thunder and lightning in the east valley today! One of the best daytime storms in the last 2-3 years.

Wow. I think Andre the Giant would’ve been envious of me, and Rob Reiner would’ve asked it if I was all right.

A couple of news notes today: Sydney Sweeney’s new ad isn’t an ad for female athletes. It’s an ad for gambling online. But the female athletes that stripped before her, that was OK. Now I’ve got Sydney on my mind, I can’t think of the 2nd thing….
