‼️ BREAKING: OpenSSH has rushed out a fix for a critical flaw that lets attackers log into some Linux servers without the right password.
The team learned of the bug a day earlier. OpenSSH's Damien Miller says long embargoes now mostly help attackers, because AI agents rediscover bugs, sometimes within hours.
It hits Linux systems on the musl C library with PAM off, such as Alpine Linux. Miller told admins to disable password logins or SSH itself "IMMEDIATELY".
Version 10.6p2 works around it. Systems on glibc or PAM are not affected, and Miller says the root cause sits outside OpenSSH.

🚨 PSA for anyone running a Linux server, node, or relay
CVE-2026-98432 is a critical Linux kernel bug (CVSS 9.8). Someone on the internet can send crafted TCP packets and take over your machine. No login needed.
Ubuntu and Red Hat haven't shipped a fixed kernel yet. Debian, SUSE, Oracle and Amazon have.
What to do today:
1. Check your kernel: uname -r
Fixed versions: 6.1.190+, 6.6.159+, 6.12.113+, 6.18.56+, 7.2.10+ or 7.3+. Below that, you're exposed.
2. If your distro has a fix, update and reboot.
3. If not, block the attack. It needs TCP packets with "IP options," which normal traffic never uses. One nftables rule drops them. Log what gets dropped so you can see if someone's probing you.
4. Turn off MPTCP unless you need it:
sysctl -w net.mptcp.enabled=0
Programs built with Go 1.24+ use MPTCP automatically, and that's how the known exploit gets in.
5. Make it survive a reboot, and check it still works after one.
If you run a Bitcoin node, a Lightning node or a Nostr relay, your machine is on the internet by design. Do this today.

CMS「Drupal」のEC用拡張「Commerce-Core」に、支払い手続きの回避や商品価格の改変につながるアクセス制御回避の脆弱性（CVE-2026-118539）。保守元Centarroは実サイトでの不正注文の試みの報告を2件受け、修正版への即時更新と最近の注文の点検を求めています。Drupalの評価は最上位のHighly-criticalで25点中21点。Centarroは10月29日付の説明で、自動化された悪用や、当初報告のあったサイト以外での悪用はないとの見方です。

・Commerce Coreは、カート・購入手続き画面やAPI経由で商品・サービスを販売するモジュール。通常のサイトとAPIを使う分離型サイトの両方に影響

・点検対象は、決済の保留・承認もない未払いの確定注文、不自然な単価、職員や販促設定に由来しない値引き・手数料。JSON:API経由の更新を許すサイトでは、決済データなしで支払い済みと表示される注文も確認対象
・無料注文や職員の価格調整など正当な理由もあるため、該当だけでは悪用の証明にならないとの注意。注文のIPアドレス・時刻をアクセスログと照合し、通常の購入手続きを通ったか調べる方法の提示
・導入済みのCommerce API・Commerce License・Commerce Shipping・Commerce Stripeも同時更新するようCentarroが推奨。JSON:APIの更新が不要なら読み取り専用に戻し、なお早急に修正版を適用する案内

これは初代垢から1x年くらい主張してるけど、インターネット普及期の90年代にオートQ2ダイヤラー、スパイウェアの概念が流行る前の2000年代前半にJWord、悪名高きお名前com、その他小さいものをあげればキリがないくらいダークパターンで稼ぎ続けてきた会社がGMO（本体）。
誰もが心にある信用が大事という当たり前の社会通念を敢えて守らないことで育ってきたんだから、そりゃ好きになれる要素がゼロです。
