God is Satan himself, but hear me out before you shout blasphemy 😂. When you have a good thought, you might say God put it in your heart, but when you suddenly have a horrible thought, you attribute it to Satan. When you do something good, God used you. When you do something terrible, somehow it becomes the devil’s handiwork. I started wondering if the people who wrote the Bible did something similar. Maybe whenever something fitted the good image of God, they attributed it to God, but when something became difficult to reconcile with that image, Satan became the explanation. One example I genuinely can’t get past is David’s census. In 2 Samuel 24:1, God is angry with Israel and incites David to count Israel. But when the same story is told in 1 Chronicles 21:1, suddenly it is Satan who incites David to do it. So who actually did it? And it gets even more interesting when you keep reading. God tested Abraham by telling him to sacrifice his son. God hardened Pharaoh’s heart and then punished Egypt. 1 Samuel says a harmful spirit “from the LORD” tormented Saul. In 1 Kings 22, God permits a spirit to deceive Ahab through his prophets. Even in Job, Satan doesn’t behave like some rogue supernatural enemy that God is desperately trying to stop. He appears before God, discusses Job with him, gets permission to attack Job and is given a limit on what he can do. That’s why I’ve started wondering whether ancient people originally attributed both sides to God: the blessing and destruction, healing and killing, protection and testing. Then as the idea of a perfectly good God developed, the darker side needed another character to carry it. Maybe Satan isn’t another powerful being fighting against God at all. Maybe “Satan” became the explanation for the side of God that people couldn’t reconcile with the God they wanted to understand as completely good. Because if one part of the Bible can say “God did it” and another part can tell the same story and say “Satan did it”, I think asking whether we’ve actually separated one character into two is at least a fair question. God, was Satan you?
Good vs Evil. 👀

According to the Bible, God placed himself on the same level as the devil. It's not a made up scenario, they work hand in hand. If it's not God then it's the devil which means it's a ying and yang. It's not far fetched that the Bible is a flawed book and their God is their devil.
This is obviously a hilarious attempt by a limited mind to contain transcendence. Parodies like this almost always make the same basic mistake. They put God and the Devil side by side as though they are cosmic rivals playing in the same league. It is like throwing Messi and Ronaldo into a comedy sketch to argue with each other. It is comical because it completely misses who God actually is. We are not talking about two powerful beings sharing a universe. We are talking about the God who spoke reality itself into existence out of absolute nothingness. There was no raw material waiting for Him. He conceived creation and brought both its matter and its order into existence. He commands the visible world and the invisible realm. The Devil is a creature living inside the house God built. Putting them on the same pedestal makes zero sense. Then the tired line: “If humans kill, it’s murder, but when God does it, we aren’t allowed to question Him.” Think about that for ten seconds. Even within our limited world, the person who creates something has a kind of authority over what he has created. If you build an app or launch a company, you can shut it down. But human life is not software. And the analogy becomes infinitely more profound when applied to God, because which of us can give life? More importantly, which of us has any authority over what happens beyond death? When a human kills, he is taking a life he did not create and exercising an authority over another person that he does not possess. He cannot create that life, restore it by his own power, or determine its ultimate destiny. God can. The Bible’s claim is not that death somehow ceases to matter. It is that death does not place a person outside God’s sovereignty. The God who gave the person life remains sovereign over that person beyond the grave. Which man can summon the soul of another man? God is dealing with what belongs to Him in the first place. And there is another problem with the caricature. Creators do not shut down what they love out of spite. God was entirely sufficient in Himself before creation. He did not create because He was lonely, incomplete, or in need of something from us. The Christian claim is that creation is an act of divine generosity and love. That is what makes this nonsense fall apart. The Christian story does not present a petty monster killing people for fun. It presents a God who loved His creation so deeply that He entered human history, took on flesh, and allowed Himself to be slaughtered on a Roman cross to redeem the very people who had turned against Him. And when God judges, Christianity does not portray Him as a bored bully exercising arbitrary power. It portrays Him as the righteous Judge who has the unique authority to give life, sustain life, judge life, end physical life, and ultimately raise the dead. It is completely fine if you do not believe God exists. But if you want to criticize the Christian view of God, at least have the intellectual honesty to wrestle with what Christians actually believe, rather than congratulating yourself for beating up a caricature you invented in your own head.

The devil is the alternate side of God.
Replying to @twyse_116
Thank you for this. I normally say God is the Alternate Devil. God is omnipotent and omniscient, so he knows what the devil will do before the devil does it. He makes the “devil” do these things because it is all part of “God’s plan. ”god” and the “devil” are the same entity. If they are not the same entity, it means the devil is so powerful that God has no power over him. Cancer, disasters, suffering, etc. cannot be the plans of an “all-loving” god. I don’t believe in monotheism because an omnipotent god who loves us all would not allow us to go astray so he can punish us in hell for not following one path out of many when he could just make that one path the only path. Based on personal experience, I acknowledge primordial forces, divinities, and a supreme being. These are not limited to one religion or book. Every “holy” book was written by man, and men lie. Atheism is more logical to me than monotheism. Atheism argues against any god; monotheism argues that only one of all gods is true. Monotheists argue that a god who creates a man into a Buddhist family, knowing he would be Buddhist, would punish him eternally in hell for not practicing another religion entirely. What a loving god. The concept of god as “good” is flawed and cannot be defended with “the ways of God are beyond human comprehension,” “don’t question god,” etc because god allows too much evil for no reason. Imagine “allowing” the devil to test a man by killing his child. Where is the sense in that? I could go on, but I’ll stop here. The devil is the alternate side of God.
