This is by far the dumbest thing he's ever said and that's saying something. We haven't been to a Super Bowl since 2012. With this core of players we have given them grace from 2018-2023. Once we made the AFC championship there was no reason to not have the expectation of Super Bowl or bust every year. But guess what? Every year after that we either scored a game tying TD and dropped the 2 point conversion, or missed a FG to send us to the playoffs, or had our defense blow a 14 to 17 point lead in the fourth quarter. This happened week after week, and even just like this year the wins are tiring because we do almost blow them at the end. We are tired Marlon. And most of this fanbase has given y'all grace for WAY too long. We're allowed to speak our mind. We pay for the apparel, the seats, the merch... we dedicate our time every week to y'all and don't get paid. This comment is right up there with Harbaughs at the end of the bar skit. No sense of situational awareness and what's going on rn. All I know is I would be damned if week in and week out I was getting cooked for 100+ and I'm going to go on a podcast blaming fans for essentially "putting a bad juju on the team." GTFOH.

I am all for moving on from EDC and bringing in a new mentality at GM, but hereโs the thing:
1. EDC offered Linderbaum a record setting deal but the Raiders unreasonably offered him 10M more than the highest paid center which was far more than the Ravens could offer.
2. EDC took some of the money, and put it toward John Simpson, one of the best available free agent guards in a lackluster market.
3. DeCosta selected Vega Ioane with his 1st round pick, whoโs been an absolute stud so far in his career.
4. EDC then signed 3 good centers to take over and compete at the position, whom all ended up suffering season ending injuries.
5. He traded for an All-Pro center to solidify the offensive line.
6. In Jurgens first game as a Raven, EDCs 1st round guard Vega Ioane suffered an injury.
7. In Lamarโs first game back, Vega was an inactive due to his knee injury.
Itโs very easy to say EDC didnโt build a competent OL, but there really isnโt much more EDC couldโve done in a singular offseason. The injury bug just hasnโt been on our side.
