Now at 99.5% ...
so frustrating that i am like at 99% ready of my super cool build tool to open source, yet i have spent the last few weeks on that last 1% (codex/claude maxed out and 6 machines running 24/7). I believe this is going to be a game changer but without that 1%, it's not proven yet

Tokyo is honestly the best city in the world as long as you avoid shibuya and shinjuku

Visited Grand Canyon for the first time and the view was so breathtaking that it gave me a few ideas on the spot and ended up talking to Claude right up there on the edge of the Canyon lmao

I am super excited about the fact that no one gives a shit about Wasm Component model now. One of the textbook level disasters in the tech history and so glad that no one living in a real world didn't take it seriously

I have lived long enough (~3yrs) nitter.cf/mathetake/status/17496…
living long enough to see the demise of Component Model is one of the motivations these days

Can confirm (my wife 91% on M3 and me 88% on MYP)
I don't think I know a single person who owns a Tesla and drives anymore. They use full self driving 90%+ of the time. Incredible to think that our kids are going to grow up in a future where all they will know is autonomous driving

Maybe best time to retire and go back to school doing Ph.D in math

Tell me you’ve never been to San Jose without telling me you’ve never been there
New York City was just ranked the best city in the world.

shall we stop at Opus 5.5 so that we can keep our jobs without having to swear at chatbots. it feels like we've struck a pretty nice balance right now

i crave Tsujita whenever i am in the south bay and sure enough i had it tonight - from which i am convinced that i have slowly started losing pure japanese food palate
456
not sure if it's no longer nerfed or restored but regardless Astra is completely unusable in my project

how is the bay area not walkable with all the money and companies in 2026
